I purchased a HP Printer/Copier/Scanner about a month after my 68-year-old aunt died from throat cancer in December of 2024, so it was sometime in January. BU FEBRUARY, 2025, we had TWO ADDITIONAL deaths in our family (on THE SAME SIDE of the family), which is my mother's side of the family, SO, although I do have the receipt for it, I DID NOT have the STRENGTH to take a LONG time to LOOK for the receipt, (being that I was feeling DOWN in spirit because of THREE deaths IN our family)! , Since February, I ALSO found out that one (former) co-worker, AND TWO friends have ALSO died! š®āšØš„ŗ SO, AFTER DEALING with GRIEF, I (FINALLY) took my NEW printer OUT of THE BOX, (and it is now April, 2025)! I didn't know if Staples would give me A HASSLE, or not (for JUST coming BACK to let them KNOW that there was NO printer CORD 'IN' the box when I purchased my NEW PRINTER, (being that it's been a few months since I made them aware of the mistake); "HOWEVER", LOREN, (the cashier), was VERY nice, sweet, AND EMPATHETIC, as she QUICKLY made JOHAN, (who I BELIEVE 'IS' a store MANAGER), AWARE of the MISHAP! WELL, I'm here TO TELL YOU that JOHAN SIMPLY had me FOLLOW him to where the printers ARE, and SIMPLY handed me A NEW PRINTER CORD, (WITH ABSOLUTELY NO hassle, AT ALL)!!! š²š¤Æš
WHOEVER PACKAGED the printer, (which I believe was POSSIBLY the manufacturer), simply FORGOT to make SURE that it had a printer cord IN the box, (when I bought it a few months ago), BUT, I GIVE STAPLES FIVE STARS for their: WILLINGNESS to PLEASE their customers, THEIR FRIENDLINESS, AS WELL as THEIR EMPATHY, (WHICH I WILL NEVER FORGET)!!! š„² I LIVE LESS than 3 miles AWAY, so I WILL shop at STAPLES, THE OFFICE SUPERSTORE, AGAIN, (AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM for their COURTEOUSNESS, AND WILLINGNESS to SATISFY their CUSTOMERS)!!

I am cancelling after this month that is already paid but I have had several issues with the service. They have given me otherās packages (which I returned immediately but just imagine if I hadnāt noticed), not scanned in mail items/packages that showed as delivered, and the service has not always been the best. You have to schedule pickups so that they can show up in the system but when you get there they donāt have it prepared or anything so Iām not sure what the point is but my greatest concern is about missing packages and mail several days after tracked as delivered. Knowing that I have been given other peopleās packages it seems as if they need a better system because not only is this service one that you are paying for, packages and mail items are both sensitive and important. Iāve had this box for a few months now and will be looking into something different...

I donāt usually leave reviews, but after two separate visits to the printing station where I received incredibly poor customer service, Iām beyond frustrated. On both occasions, the attitude from the young woman working was dismissive, cold, and simply rude ā not what you expect when youāre trying to spend money on a business order. I was clearly frazzled and under a time crunch, and the lack of urgency or professionalism only made things worse.
That said, I do want to call out the male manager who stepped in ā he was fantastic, calm, and immediately helpful once I asked for assistance. If it werenāt for him, I probably would have walked out again without my materials.
It shouldnāt take flagging down a manager just to receive decent service. If this location wants to attract and retain professional clients, something has to...
