This is my favorite panera. I’ve been here twice this week already! All of the associates are amazing and I’ve gotten to know them on my frequent visits here. The manager Tracie is always great and attentive. However, the two times I’ve been here this week I’ve encountered an “associate trainer” named Brittney. She has been super rude! On Sunday, my family and I came in around 10:40 thinking they serve lunch all day. When we came to order soup, she told us we had to wait 20 minutes for the lunch. So, we went to the end of the bar to get smoothies while we waited. When we were at the end of the bar, we heard orders being called out for pickup with tomato soup and broccoli cheddar!!! When we asked those preparing, they said they had certain soups out and could serve it now and that Brittany didn’t know what she was talking about. So we had to go back into the now forever long line and wait for soup we could’ve had 20 minutes before.
Today, Wednesday, I and three others ordered broccoli cheddar soup with warmed baugettes. This is something we ordee every week and even the guy at the register, he was AMAZING, put the order in no problem. So when we got our food all but one of the baguettes were warmed. So I politely asked if they could be warmed again and Brittney proceeded to tell us that they don’t warm the baguettes because it takes too much time and “you can do it yourself that’s what we have microwaves for.” So I just walked away and warmed mine up, unbeknownst to her the rest of them were warmed already so I knew they could do it and I’ve had it before. Read moreI just ordered delivery from this location to a site that is approx. 1/2 a mile away. The order was for a Ceasar salad and a you pick 2 (a cup of soup and half of a sandwich) and a cranberry orange muffin. The delivery ETA was between 12.20p-12.30p. I received a text message at 12.18p stating that my order was on its way. At 12.34p I began calling Panera to see what the status of my order was. I had 7 unanswered calls before finally reaching someone around 12.58p. I did this by selecting the cancel order option, where the phone immediately began ringing and then someone finally answered. I told them how long I had been waiting on my order and they muted me and put me on hold. After about 4 minutes, they came back and assured me my order would be here in 5 minutes and they were leaving now. No explanation as to why I received the text message at 12.18 saying it was on its way and it hadn't even left yet. My order was missing a cranberry orange muffin. This Panera needs to get its priorities straightened out and needs to put a larger emphasis on having employees answer the phone. Extremely unpleasant experience. Will not be ordering from this location again. UPDATE: Changed from 1 star to 3. Went back after work and asked the manager for a refund for the muffin WITHOUT explaining the rest of the situation. She was very polite, gave me my refund, apologized for me having to come in and offered me a cookie or beverage for my trouble. If I was rating the manager she would get a 6!! Read moreVegan options are incredibly limited, so i decided to customize a vegetarian sandwich- which is saved to my panera account as a "favorite". I ordered this meal togo , when i walked up to the counter to get my bag 3 employees were standing around my bag talking and whispering, then they asked if it was to go or dine in- i told them to go and they got relieved and handed me my bag. Fast forward 20 minutes home to see that my sandwich has cheese, the wrong (non vegan) bread, no onions, and skimped on the avocado I paid an extra 1.58 for!! I promptly called the manager brenda who said I could drive back and get a replacement just to "use her name" oh and i could only return to that panera for the sandwich it wasn't extended to other locations. Excuse me? I just paid 8-9$ for a sandwich I can't eat! So I had to explain that wasn't option and request a refund which was done the next day. The thing that gets me about this manager though, is that she doesn't know her own policy. On the bottom of the receipt it states "accuracy is extremely important to us! If we mess up well make it right! And we'll give you a free treat!" that's nice, but inaccurate. Brenda didn't mention a free anything, she just rushed me off the phone.
