Dollar General — Local services in Nauvoo

Currently traveling cross country on a bicycle. I stopped to get a few supplies. I have a small day bag I wear.

I was told "There's a sign up front stating no bags.".

Nothing was said to the older woman with the purse.

The employee came off rude, hostile and had me feeling like I was trying to shoplift. I asked to leave my bag behind the counter and she said I'd have to leave it outside the store because they can't be responsible.

I'm not going to leave my backpack with my important valuables sitting on my bike in front of the store.

I've never had this issue at a Dollar...

I don't know what this Rodney guys talking about but this is the nicest Dollar general store that I've ever been in and I've traveled from states to States so I know. The girls there are great they're always smiling and always buzzing around keeping busy I never find any of them not doing something. If I could nominate this store for some kind of a pizza party or something tell me where because they deserve it. The manager Heather I think it is is a machine I don't know how...

Avoid this store, half their product is like four months old. I for one got food poisoning. All the electronics are junk....& no return policy. And the staff.....zombies. Just no smile no nothing. Place is creepy. I for one will never go there again. And 2. Can't wait for it to get torn down especially with a huge roof leack causing mold. The town inspector will Take care...
