This is a review I wish I didn’t have to write. We set up an appointment for our dog to be bathed, brushed, and her paws trimmed. I got a call from the owner or manager of the store saying that they wanted to shave her because she had matting around her neck. Our dog is a Coton de Tulear and her father was a grand champion. The glory of this breed is their hair. When we picked her up, she was clean but not brushed very well. Our $65 fee plus a 20% tip was wasted money. They really did nothing that we couldn’t have done. There had been so many raving reviews about this place that I thought I’d give it a try, but I am extremely disappointed. I took her there because I just had surgery and I’m physically not able to stand and take care of for myself. My husband brought her home she was bathed and slightly brushed. They did not trim the hair on her feet or trim her nails or shave her paw pads. We were extremely disappointed in the quality of care...

I own two Maltese, and was currently taking them elsewhere for 2 1/2yrs until a friend told me about Salty Paws. I have never gotten the cut that I ever wanted with my pup. It was just very frustrating, especially picking my puppy up, shaking every time, or when I pull into the parking lot, he jumps to my floorboard because he does not want to go in there… I always felt terrible dropping them off until… Candace groomed both my dogs and I can’t express how happy I am with how they came out & how happy they were when I picked them up! Even with one of them having a butchered cut she somehow made it look 1000 times better my other puppy who I was told was very stressed seem to be the most happy I’ve ever seen her. Mya was so fantastic with my senior dog, who really doesn't like to be groomed, and thus she had some mats. When I first arrived, she came out to discuss what I wanted and was very attentive and informative, but ultimately I told her she could use her professional judgement and do what was best. I know it wasn't an easy groom for Mya, but Barklie looks great and, more importantly, she's acting like she FEELS great. I appreciate that they give you a "heads up" when the dog is about done so they never have to be in a cage.
