update: Dissapointed again!!! I had an apt rescheduled for today with Jessica M since last apt she was no call no show... and once again I got canceled on. But at least this time I got a heads up text at 5am. It's been three weeks and two attempts on trying to get my hair done here at this location. I'm just done at this point. I honestly would not recommend this location to anyone.
not really sure how to rate my visit. As a mom who always puts her family first I decided to do something for myself. I made an appt early this week for today to get my hair done after alot of research. Confirmed my apt 2 xs with the links and msgs that was sent. so im pumped up at this point. Today's the day!!! And I have plans with my husband after so im pumped thinking im going to surprise him with a new hair style! First impressions is GREAT! I walked in this salon is BEAUTIFUL. I was immediately greeted and eveyone seemed very nice. The woman asked who I was here to see I told her and she then tells me she was out sick yesterday and not sure if she'll be in today. she steps out side to call her and then informs me she's out with covid and won't be in and there was no one else to do my hair. And naturally I'm bummed. Like I completely understand people being sick and needed to cancel that no problem at all, health is always first ! But im just soooo dissapointed I arranged child care for my 6 month old paid up front dropped my baby off and drove all the way to the salon. A simple phone call, email or text cancelation literlly any kinds of heads up would of been sooo much appreciated. again I am so understanding of people being sick and wouldnt of been upset at all but im so bummed because this was not a simple task to get in there today just to be turned away. IF I get another appt I will update this review and rate it according to services provided because that is how reviews should be I just would hate for another mama in the same situation as my self to go through this...
Read moreI’m sorry to say it, but I can’t recommend this place. Chelsea added brown low-lights that faded in a week. I’ve never had this happen to me before so I called her. She didn’t answer. Instead, she texted that it was because my hair was porous and she was too busy to talk via phone. I wasn’t even mad, at first, because I assumed Chelsea would try to make it right or offer suggestions or some alternative. Something. Anything. Once it became clear that she had no interest in helping, I reached out to the owner to share my experience. She couldn’t have cared less. The owner, who had no personal knowledge of my hair, blamed it on my hair...after assuring me that Chelsea was an independent contractor, of course. Two major issues: first, the lack of of concern/dismissiveness and secondly, the lack of communication before, during, and the break down of communication afterwards. It was cya and passing the buck rather than just saying sorry let’s see what we can do. Never had this bad of a color job and never had this bad of an experience at a salon. I got the impression from the moment I walked in for the appointment that I was nothing but a dollar sign. Oh how I wished I would have listened to...
Read moreSo I booked a shampoo and style with Nikki and a Consultation with Nora for color. Nora rescheduled once, no biggie. Then she wanted to reschedule the already rescheduled appointment. I understand a Consultation is free, but it's needed for as much money as I'm trying to drop on color for my waist length hair. So i just said nevermind. Nikki didn't shampoo me, said my hair was fine, (which wasn't the point. I wanted it washed, but didn't argue), but the style turned out very pretty. Loved the curls, worked great for what I was doing. She tried to be chatty and friendly. The salon is NOTHING like the pictures, so don't be fooled. It was dead silent in there for about half the time I was there. I never get my hair done, this is the first time I've been to a salon in over 10 years. Unfortunately probably won't be going back. Oh! And on the website, I booked a shampoo and style, with a price of 30 dollars. Didn't get half the darn service and STILL paid 65 dollars...
