Rivertowne Square — Local services in New Bern

First issue I had there this evening was being unable to find a product my husband needed. I asked an employee in the area, and was told that he had no idea what it was and couldn't help me. The young Male made no effort to figure it out or help me at all. I will say a few lanes over... there was another young man, that did help. He looked it up, and directed me to exactly where it was. Unfortunately, they were out of stock. My second problem has been a continuous one. Every time that I go to this Walmart, they only have one register for people with actual cash. The line is always very long and slow. Than there will be plenty of other employees standing around in the self checkout area. Now, I dont blame them. They are only doing what they are told. There is no reason to have a whole section for people to pay with a card only and than have one register for people that pay cash. This was the 3rd. Time that I have put back my items and left the store. I'm not waiting an hour in line for a few items only because the management refuses to open any more registers. It's not making the customers that pay cash want...

Never been to a 5 below so i wanted to check it out, i was in there a long time cause i looked at everything they have, was buying 4 or 5 items after an hour of checking out what they have and here we go, started getting followed by the most obvious plain clothes security i ever saw, one item in a cart popping up at every place me and my wife stopped to look, pretending to be on the phone and so obviously watching us, i bought a couple things and stood off to the side by the door eating gummi watermelons while waiting for my girl to get through the line and a young guy in 5 below gear comes and stands next to me pretending to fix a shelf that was perfect then walking circles around me and the island i was standing by staring at me, yes i called his ass out, and why have a store with 8000 items if i can't check them out, thats called shopping, i won't go back, black lives matter cries that black people get followed in every store, news flash, i get followed...

This is your typical Walmart supercenter all of them are the same they put money into the stores they look very nice. Unlike their previous competitor Kmart who refused to put money back in there buildings and I'm pretty sure anybody 35 and older who's ever visited a Kmart will recognize the difference.
