Unfortunately this was a horrible visit. My husband went to get food for us around 1:00 to 1:30 am. The drive thru was not busy so there was no noise interference when he began to place the order. He ordered a tray with a cheeseburger with mustard and ketchup a double cheeseburger with chili and onion rings then he ordered another tray with two corn dogs and fries and 4 milkshakes. One was strawberry one was supposed to be strawberry pineapple, blueberry cheesecake and banana pineapple. The girl starts asking him did he want barbecue sauce on his barbecue and he politely told her he did not order BBQ he ordered burgers. She said well do you want barbecue sauce on your burger he said no ma'am. Then she said something else again about his barbecue sandwich he said ma'am I did not order any barbecue or barbecue sandwich. When he gets to the window it's over $34. For two trays and for milkshakes the bill was over $34. Come to find out she rang the order up as three separate trays instead of the two trays as it was supposed to be. As he's sitting there waiting the girl is cussing and fussing at somebody you can hear her over the microphone, drive-thru and everything just cussing and fussing at somebody. After all of that my husband gets home brings the food in and the order is wrong. Both cheeseburgers have chili all over them the onion rings are so cold they are hard as brick bats. Then to top it all off our granddaughter could not eat her corn dog because you could have squeezed the grease out of it. And then the milkshakes we're wrong. We had two plain strawberry milkshakes one milkshake only had bananas in it and I do believe the blueberry cheesecake was correct. All in all this was a very horrible visit. Normally we don't have any issues.Besides the rudeness of the lady at the window and the cussing and the complete lack of interest in getting our order correct we were very unhappy. We hope this is not repeated in the future or an example of what we have to look forward to if and when we decide to return. Because as I stated before we normally do not have any issues with cookout. I sure hope something can be done. Thank you and have...
Read moreI ordered a hot dog tray. I got there right after it opened so I didn't expect any problems. Since my order was fairly simple I shouldn't have had them, right? I ordered 1 hot dog with ketchup and onions. Simple, right? I ordered the other hot dog with mustard and onions, again, simple. Oh nooooooo. I got two hot dogs with onions, this is true. BUT they both had ketchup and mustard on them. I had started on my fries and bacon wrap because they were really fresh and hot. I love Cook Out fries. I opened the first hot dog and was, oh no. Opened the second, yup. I should mention I had parked in their lot to eat, I still had things to do and the shade was nice (at least, lol). Lunch rush had started so I just decided to eat them as is. When I was done I took my slip, which was clearly marked, and went inside. I asked for the manager. When she came out I simply said, you might want to have the people in back pay attention to the slips a little better. Not rude, or mean. Just oops. She said, in a huff, I'll remake it, give me the food. I said no that wasn't why I came. I already ate it, even tho I don't prefer it that way. I just wanted to let you know it happened. She looked at me, angry, turned around and walked away. My mouth, really did drop open. I was thinking her boss must be so proud of her. Customer Service. NOT! I just left, but after one of my stops I thought about it and called Cook Out Corporate for NC. I told them what happened and the managers reaction. They offered a replacement and again I told them it was the 'wake up - read the order' I was thinking about. Plus the managers attitude when I hadn't been anything but polite. Then she offered me a replacement meal again. Yup! I took it. Here's hoping it's better. Don't think I'm ordering hot...
Read moreHad the absolute worst experience about an hour or so ago in the drive thru. As my daughter and I pulled up to order, I asked the rep for one moment so my daughter could read the menu. After a few moments, I said okay, we're ready to order . . . no response. I said it again a little louder, and again no response. I'd assumed that since someone in the line adjacent was ordering, so I waited for them to finish and said "hello" again into the order screen, again no response. I watched as the next car in the adjacent lane pulled up to order and was immediately greeted and their order was taken. I then said "hello" again, to which I was greeted with the most venomous customer service voice stating "you can order whenever you're ready". Even my young daughter was taken aback. I'd never expected to hear that type of attitude towards a customer who simply wanted to read the menu before ordering. I told the rep "no thank you, I don't think I'll be ordering anything", to which I heard the female rep/order-taker yell through the intercom "oh well, have a good day." Please find that young woman and re-train her before you lose any more customers. And check the intercom. It could've been a technological error or even user error of not speaking loud enough, but an employee's poor attitude lost Cookout a...
