I’ve been saying for so long that New Bern desperately needed a unique coffee shop with GOOD coffee. I stumbled upon Bellator last week, and my dreams have finally come true!

I’ve been several times already, and every drink I’ve tried has been amazing (Deadly Nightshade is my favorite so far). The flavor of their coffee is incredible, which I fully attribute to them roasting their own beans in house. Such an incredibly inviting atmosphere with super kind and welcoming staff. An added bonus is the general spooky theme all throughout the menu and decor, I absolutely love it and definitely makes this place stand out among the rest.

I wanted to try this place because we got beans from them many times before they had a shop. Their beans are excellent and the shop is beautiful. However, when I walked in the staff was sleeping on the couch. I didn't see him and I said 'hello!' thinking they were just in the back. Nope. He practically fell off the couch. I asked for a small caramel macchiato. I know what this is and was surprised to drink burnt espresso and barely any steamed milk. It was undrinkable.
