Food was fresh and looked visually delicious and WAS. A wide variety of delicious, SWEET OR HEALTHY choices for a value price. The beef brisket sandwiches were SO GOOD! All the employees were very friendly and smiling. Seemed to enjoy their jobs. I loved the gift shop section. Restroom was spotless. Wonderful store!! Best food we had in Wharton, TX while we visited during Covid-19 with limited selection in town by competitors failing terribly with taste of food and service surrounding the motel where we stayed except for Buckees!! Fresh, delicious looking food, large selection of choices and I wanted to try everything. Great looking fresh packaged food. Wasn't expecting that. We don't have Buckees in Missouri. Wish we did. I'd love to work there, fuel up, or eat fudge, BBQ, fruit, and any choice would've been a good choice clearly. So much nicer than a standard gas station with regular pre-packaged, boring, unhealthy typically for food choices. Buckers was super clean and always lots of people but no waiting or crowded feeling inside making purchases and browsing. Perfect pricing for the quality and value of selection. So I got 2 frames from 90% clerance. As I was to pay for this and other items.I told cashier that I a 10.00 frame at 90% off is not 2.49 but 1.00. And that a 7.99 is not 2.49 but 80 cents. So the assistant manager I believe her name is Isabel says that the frame is not clreance cause it is still a active item. She didn't even let me buy it for the red sticker price.I believe she was wrong. Well I don't think she knows that an item that is damaged also can be on clerance. I worked retail and l done management and I would have let my customers have it for that price. I think some of this employees think they own the store and don't care about customers. Like 2.49 was going to cause the store to go broke. What a bad experience and I could have paid more for the item but I believe that the clerance price should have been respected. You need to go over and redo your clerance or correct signing. So this doesn't happen again. I think that they think...

We had a blast spending time for our Anniversary, just walking around and shopping and enjoying the different shops.

We went to ocuna 's and I had a green tea bubble tea with tapioca it was so good and had FF's, for less then $6. I think this place is addicting, they made a long time customer out of me. It was a beautiful place, with pretty good service. All though the girl that waited on us got a little snarky with me when she asked if a bubble tea and FF's we're all I was getting, I wasn't ready to eat just yet. I do think I'd love to try the bowels out on another visit, it's not my husband's type of food.
