Five Guys — Restaurant in New Braunfels

Best burgers in new braunfels and love their home made fries I like that they are fried in peanut oil it makes them far less greasy. My only complaint is the prices I would probably go here and strictly here for burgers if wasn't so expensive I usually spend at least 50 and that's for me and my son usually sharing a burger and all 4 of us sharing a large fry the prices are a bit much but other than that no complaints. Wait I have one but it's a small thing their employees some definitely don't listen it took me saying several times then another customer had to step in and help me out had the kid just listened to me in the 1st place would have been solved fast and easy. I asked the kid for drink carrier it was the type that have the handle and taller and I tried to explain to him how to open it more than twice after he broke two thej after both me and another customer saying it he asked can u just try a new one and i had to physically take it from the kid and open it but he handed me the broken one and one third one I said here let me show u how it works then I did it and I said it's no big deal I worked in foood service I know how these work but wouldn't listen to me . The situation was not a big deal just thought was funny...

So I went to Five Guys because I had a 20$ gift card and was out and about with my two year old daughter who is super cute. My burger, her little burger, splitting a large fry, and two drinks was 25$ . Which I didn't trip on because I had the gift card. It was actually really good and my daughter ate alot which is hard to get her to do. Everything seemed fresh and the layout of the open kitchen was really cool. BUT the sheer price of the food makes me give this place two stars. With in and out right down the road and whataburger next door I can tell you this business will not last. I've worked restaurants most of my life, in new braunfels at that. You can spend the same amount and go to an actual restaurant or get an incredible burger at a few of the bars in town for the same price or less. I recommend everyone that works there to find new employment. I don't see five guys being around more than a year tops in New Braunfels. I won't be going back unless I stumble upon...

Ordered $125 of food and the order was made wrong not just once but TWICE!Some burgers were missing bacon and all of them had mayo when only 2 of them had it requested and the frys had way too much salt in them and we were missing two of the 5 large fries we were supposed to have.Then the second time when we had the whole order remade the manger refused to gives us the 5th large fries and said something about "everyone has their salt preferences" as explained to me why she couldn't.I dont care, when you remake a order you give me all the order, not 90%.And not only that, the burgers were made wrong again, missing bacon, condiment that wasn't asked for, and missing onions.I don't care if 75% was made right, it should have been 100% from the start.And all the manager could do was give us 2 10 dollar gift cards?You have to use both of them just to get one Burger.Our order was number 80, my wife Akeria Holloway also...
