Ann Taylor — Local services in New Canaan

Let’s put aside the fact that over the last 8 years Ann Taylor went from a store where one could find sophisticated, quality clothing items to little better than a TJ Maxx, and focus on this location’s abysmal customer service. I have lived in this town since 1990, and never have I been confronted with younger employees so rude and poorly trained. Seemingly encouraged by their manager who might not know how to handle customer service herself since she seems constantly overwhelmed in a position that I have seen others thrive in.

How heartbreaking to watch this store devolve into mediocrity. I used to go into Ann Taylor weekly, now I go in once a year…and probably never again now. What once was a calming oasis where you could always find an outfit for any occasion is a now a sad dumpster fire resting on the laurels of its former glory. You should close the doors or hire new designers to try to save your brand...
