The ferry itself was great. We were able to get some snacks, water and drinks. The area to wait for the ferry in Providence was not so pleasant. It is not clearly marked so if you are on foot you may miss it. There is nothing to eat or drink around so be prepared. We were there during the heatwave a few days ago. My husband was feeling dehydrated and we begged to purchase a bottle of water. The attendant would not help us because they don't have a license to sell anything. We already had tickets for the ferry. We could have been given the water and then pay for it inside the ferry. She said no. If you are walking there be careful when you follow google maps.
