Definitely 5 star food hands down. Open cuisine offers a variety of different food and all of it is delicious. The best brand name cold cut sandwiches- Boars Head. Ive only had one bad experience with "Gourmets"located on broadway next to the apple store. The original name is gourmets.. I asked for a buffalo chicken cold cut hardroll. After receiving my sandwich i went to my truck and realized it was a hot sandwich -i tried to return my sandwich untouched and they refused to give me my money back and only offer credit as a form of refunding. Fast forward long story short, a cop was involved to arbitrate because i was very upset how a business is friendly and polite when you handing over your hard earned money but act like its pulling teeth when they're wrong. I was refunded in the form of a credit to any other good nature market location but it was principle they made an error and wasnt willing to be accountable. I continue to go to good nature market as they are very clean. But my preference is the good nature market located on whitney ave by Chase...
Read moreThe food is good but I agree with everyone who complains about the staff and management. The women who work at the register are very rude and unfriendly, and the manager needs a course in interpersonal skills. The prices are outrageous and food items that are made on premise, do not provide a label of ingredients. I believe the scale at the registers are rigged, and I don’t understand why the customer has to ask for a receipt. During the covid pandemic, African Americans were denied service. Even though the food is good and they offer healthy food, I won’t be patronizing them anymore. I can go to Walmart and buy items for far less than you pay at this store. In my opinion they are over charging customers because it’s their belief that the bulk of their customers are Yale students and staff and they believe these people have money. Pure greed. Also, be careful with the spare ribs, I purchased them one time and they were...
Read more5 stars for variety/hard to find items. 1 star for attention to detail, and friendly service. Seems like they hire people that don't really want or need a job based on the attitudes. When you are charging a premium for items, you would think they could afford better help. 2 times in a row, panini was made wrong, and/or provided a tiny amount of chicken for a $10 panini.
To sum up: Come here for a rare chocolate bar or specialty drink, if you could care less about service or price. Don't come here for...
