White Castle — Restaurant in New Lenox

upon walking in I noticed I was the only one in the restaurant. I walked up to the counter and stood there well I just kept standing after about 6 minutes some lady from the back asked the young man who was up front and knew I was there but kept ignoring me to take my order. He did take my order but made it clear he did not want to. He called order up so I figured it was mine since I was the only one there took my order and left. Got home and the entire order the bottom bun was wet soaked totally unedible. I get that young people can have a bad attitude, but if you don't want to be there quit your job. I saw 3 people working so I'm not sure who got my order ready but they knew it was not edible but still bagged it up and gave it to me. Twenty dollars in the trash I've never had a worse fast food experience and I've had some pretty bad food. This was the worst white castle ever. I noticed in the reviews that I'm not the first to get soaked buns that were not edible. Unsure what is wrong with this location but but there does appear to be a issue when you serve customers food like I got in my order. I'm positive I will not go back cured any CRAVE I had for white castle. Totally...

Every single at this location the wait is absolutely atrocious through the drive thru. Knowing this I went inside hoping it would be faster but after standing at the counter for 7mins without anyone taking my order I noticed the drive thru had cleared out, so I went to it. I literally waited for over 12 mins for someone to even take my order and then barely get to the first window where I paid and she pretty much throws my food at me. Of course it's missing items and I'm blocked by the car in front of me anyway, so I get her attention to tell her and I am not with nothing but attitude and my missing items thrust at me without any apologies for waiting or for screwing up the order. There was literally no one inside at the time of going through the drive thru and at least six people if not more workingso I'm not sure what the problem is but it is a constant problem at this location and it is ridiculous...

Well it's White Castle, except it's 4:30 pm and not 4:30 am. Prime time for dinner service. With 11 tables and 3 booths, I sat at the only "clean" table . There were no napkins in the dining room or condiments, plently of crumbs and sticky stuff. Whoever was managing needs to delegate. "Hey, it's almost dinner service. Get out and clean the dining room." It wasn't busy yet... The bathroom was also in disarray, filthy, really.

The food is normally a 3. Not today. Bad buns. Mushy bottoms and partially firm tops. At least one burger had dry edges. You know, that dark brown hard color. The fries have seen better service. The pop was good.

The staff was friendly, at least. The only grace saving this review from 1 star.

First time at this location. Last time at this location....
