Pizza Hut — Restaurant in New Lenox

Our experience today, 10/2/19, did not involve food. It is about the reckless driving of your delivery person. We were in the eastbound lane of route 30, waiting to turn left by Aldi's, on our way to Culver's. The pizza delivery car with the Pizza Hut emblem on the roof, was coming up very fast behind me. He was coming so fast, I had to move forward to avoid being hit. We decided to go to Pizza Hut to confront the driver. Joe asked him why he was going so fast that he almost plowed into the back of our Jeep. His response was "I was making a delivery." Joe then asked to speak to the manager, the driver was right there. So to start, I just found out from the very helpful worker that the new owners fired all of their in store drivers. Now it is strictly delivered through Doordash, which would've been nice to know because the food was COLD. Lied about delivery time (was approximately 40 minutes late), and the poor guy working is by himself and handling complaints because I suppose this isn't the first call OF THE DAY. Bless his heart he gave me store credit, but at the very minimum publish the new delivery information on your website. I would have ordered from Domino's. Order from here all the time! Pizza, wings & dessert are always nice and hot when delivered but my last 2 orders have been messed up. They forgot my family size pasta in one and my most recent order (last night) the food was not fresh at all it seemed like they had been driving around for a bit with it (maybe delivering a bunch of orders for 1 driver?) had to heat up the food in the microwave in order to eat it.
