We had some cans and bottles building up and found out New Milford Recycling Center takes ALL your returns. There's a shack onsite with several banks of self return machines (glass, plastic, cans). For any containers not accepted by the machine, the attendant will verify deposit eligibility. They will cash you out and you're on your way! Of course, there are other bulk recycling services here and their website details all the relevant fees and procedures. I was happy to see they have free e-waste recycling because who doesn't have a busted printer, obsolete monitors, or a few old devices they'll never use again just lying around? The owner is trying to tell me I’m making a killing. He has no idea what I’m doing & tells me it’s a private business he is running ?? Okay so does that mean to rip me off ? ? Read moreThe employees were fair, kind, and courteous, as I showed up a few minutes before closing on a Sunday with a U-Haul full of junk. Perhaps the folks have read some of the negative reviews and adjusted their attitude accordingly. Fortunately, I did not have any wood to dispose of, which is becoming exorbitantly expensive at most transfer stations.
As listed on this site, it was approximately $15 for each couch, and then a miscellaneous charge. Would absolutely return and repeat business again, as being open on Sundays sets this place apart...
