This was my very first time visiting this historic site. What I found to be the most interesting, is it’s architectural tombs. So much time, and Effort was put into each design making each tomb and tomb stone, one of a kind. It was like being transported to a different year.... perhaps the 1800s. I’ve never been quite as intrigued as I was here!

I would definitely recommend taking a light stroll.

This site is free and open to the public. You will encounter at least one pan handler. They come with the territory. He said he worked for the cemetery and was asking for donations. I wasn’t carrying cash on me but he inspired me to donate to the cemetery via their website so...

Beautiful cemetery from 1840, established by the Firemen's Charitable Association, with many beautiful and interesting ancient monuments. Note the entrance gateway in Egyptian style designed in 1840 by Frederick Wilkinson.
