Went in over weekend and totally understood the wait due to weekend and all waited close to an hour for a pedicure for me and my friend took us back started the water and began on my friends pedicure. They were trimming the nails with rusty toenail clippers along with when they were using the grader on my friends heel they washed it in her DIRTY water and placed it back into the box they place the utensils and when it was my turn for a pedicure USED it on me without sanitizing properly. After painting was done didnāt even give us them flip flops and had us walk to the dryers without shoes or anything on across the floor. When I was receiving my pedicure I kept telling the person I have a blister and itās open which I know itās my fault for going and getting one but they kept running the buffer over the blister and causing it to bleed and once they seen it bleeding and I said again that was the area to avoid they stated āoh itās just a blister itās fineā. We had paid for a 30 minute pedicure as they have it online and in their brochure it is $45 and only received between 15-20 minutes no massage and lotion was still on our legs. So us as the customer had to rub in more. So I just wanted to call to give them like a heads up such as what had happened and I get being busy we forget things and said it was our first time in there and just some things are not good and requesting a refund or something and the began to call us liars and they are always sanitizing in between people that it was 25-30 minutes time for pedicure and no they did not do that and continuing to call us liars which I have had MANY pedicures and never have I had that happen to me. I will never go to that place again and how they handled the situation was totally rude and wrongful. Only time I got a little upset is when they were calling us liars and not allowing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe positives: Very kind person and I made sure to tip and be polite in return even though I really felt I did not want to tip or even pay $25 for the regular manicure. She DID do a good job cutting the dead skin from my nails and a good job painting. The negatives: she did not apply a Apply a hand cream or soaked my nails in warm, soapy water for even a few minutes to soften the cuticles. She put my hands in a cup worth of cold soapy water and my right hand didn't even soak, it was basically dip hand in water and started cutting dead skin away. She did NOT push back my cuticles at all. She talked her home country language in whatever conversation she had going on with the other nail techs about whatever and laughing with each other as she did the manicure which I find really rude and uncomfortable. I know how to do nails and I am quite good at it. Even though I can easily do a manicure on myself, I never take the time for just me away from my kids. I had the afternoon and really wanted to sit back and have someone else treat me. I am disappointed and will just do my own from now on. I won't be returning to New Philly nail. I am disappointed that I paid for a service that I could have done better on myself. But- in the future I know I will be the one who will have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRude, very rude. Speaking in thier native language, they talked badly about my daughter and the elderly lady sitting next to her. Do they not realize that you can translate every word someone is saying in another language?? And what was even more disturbing, the elder lady seem to be a long time customer of thiers, knowing about the collages her kids were going to, asking how they are doing, and that one was about to graduate soon. THIS is how you treat people who drop 60 to 100 dollars or more in one visit? Not to mention, a friend of mine was in the shop today and the State came in and sent one tech packing because she was not licensed!!!! I will NEVER go back there again!! I will take my business to an operator who is clean, licensed, and doesn't talk about her customers in another language right in front of them!! They should be happy for the business and treat thier customers with dignity and respect. Oh, and being licensed is a HUGE PLUS TOO!! New Philly nails you should be happy for the business, because the customers are the ones who make it possible for you to pay your bills š. I know you will never get another dime...
