Honestly, I am not even sure what just happened. I went into this store this morning to return two Amazon packages. I got there two minutes early so I waited outside until they opened. When the employee opened the door, I said “good morning” and he replied “do you have your codes?” That felt like an odd first request but I said yes. When I got to the counter I told him that the Amazon directions instructed me not to pack it up. He scanned the code and condescendingly said “you can scroll up and it will give you directions.” I said “yes I read the directions and it said not to package the item up. He looked at me with frustration and then handed the original box back to me. I was confused about the hostility of this interaction. I took the box and dropped it on the ground as I juggled with my phone and the other item I intended to return. He then said “that is it I am no longer serving you.” I was confused and he said “you just threw that box, I am not helping you.” I told him that I did not throw the box, I dropped it with the intention of picking it up later after I had processed the other package. We had a back and forth and then i walked out with my second package. I am not sure what was going. Perhaps he was just having a bad morning but I have never felt so disrespected. I took my second package down the road to Port Orange and had an extremely pleasant interaction with the gentleman there. I have nothing but good interactions at this NSB location but have no desire to repeat this hostile interaction anytime soon and will be taking my business elsewhere, I suggest you...
Read moreThis store must be where all the DMV employee rejects go to work. What a sorry bunch. Never experienced such chaos and hostility from a store before. There was junk and packaging materials on every surface. I cleared off an area and was trying to arrange the contents of my package when an older lady near the door started yelling at me from across the store. I couldn't hear her over the blasting radio, so I had to stop what I was doing and walk over to her to see what she was screaming about. She told me I wouldn't get helped if I wasn't in line. I told her that I was doing something and wasn't in line yet. She ordered me to get in line again. I told her that I wasn't ready to get in line. She rambled something about how she was an employee...yes lady, I see that you are an employee but that doesn't give you the authority to micro-manage my every move. But this lady was an absolute delight compared to the winner we had to deal with at the counter. He was beyond rude, like a petulant teenager. Barking orders, mumbling, implying that our small package was going to cost a fortune to send and delighting in that fact. He had a major attitude problem. When we told him so, he got more hostile. Went to the post office where Jose gave us kind, professional service and charged a whopping $17 to send the same package. Lesson learned. Owner of the store, save your apologies. You clearly don't care about the sad state of your establishment. Read the reviews and listen to your customers, don't just attempt to...
Read moreI should have snapped a picture and posted it. This store was such mess. Boxes everywhere, hardly space to set down a package or write on a slip.
Beyond that the women behind the counter was dramatically rude. I came into the store with a shipping label and package. I had a question about the pricing of the shipping, so I hadn't attached the label to the package yet (In case I made a mistake and needed to get a different label to attach to the package). The women never made eye contact while I was asking my question. Then all the sudden she pops her eyes up and in the most impolite tone says "I have no idea what you are trying to say." She goes on not listening to me nor answering my question. She complained about the fact the label wasn't attached to the package. I explained to her I would be attaching it as soon as I understand the price issue between package type. Then she told me to go order supplies which I told her I already had, some of which being from FedEx. She told me I couldn't use a FedEx shipping pouch to attach the label to the package which isn't true. I've been doing it for awhile because I have a surplus from FedEx. She rolled her eyes at me and pushed a UPS shipping pouch my way telling me to go fix it.
I don't understand what makes people want to treat others this way. I didn't deserve that attitude. Our business will not be returned...
