Panda Buffet — Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach

Been about 10 times already and feeling I can give a solid review. The food is extremely inconsistent unfortunately. Some days they add way too much salt some days nothing. The only thing that is consistent is how overly sweet everything is. The filling in the crab Rangoons always tastes rancid to me. The fish is always extremely salty and the eggs rolls are good sometimes and overtly salty other times. Their habchi is decent as long as you tell them lite sauce because again their sauce is extremely sweet. I won’t comment on the sushi really since it’s a Chinese buffet but I dont recommend it. Honestly the best choice around for Chinese/asian food hands down. YOU WILL NOT BEAT THEIR PRICES/PORTIONS!! The food is amazing with so many choices and the hibachi is hands down my favorite station where you can pick all your items raw like steak chicken or shrimp and pick your other ingredients and they cook it in front of you!. Every time me and my girl go, the food is fresh and if it’s not to your liking they will bring a fresh batch out for you! She loves the sushi and all is this is included with the price. So my fiance and I got to eat for the first time at the reopened by new owners the Chinese restaurant(panda buffet) on 44 by the windixie in the shopping center. They seem dead right now because no one has seen the improvement from before. This place has more lights, better representation of food. I believe altogether, this should be a good spot to sit down with your family. Enjoy Chinese food. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.
