Super nice staff! Went there in Feb and allowed myself to be talked into purchasing a sweet creamy (and shockingly expensive) liqueur. Definitely worth the experience. Also bought some produce and packaged Mexican products, which were both great. A friend from Spain who I went with had a long chat with the owner and also enjoyed the experience. We will both definitely be back!
Hope they also come up with a website and add a few more alcohol options soon! I'd love to know what produce they will be keeping in stock (I've walked by during my hurried grocery runs and seen their makeshift counter outside, looks great) and get their opinion on my alcohol choices.

Read moreFantastically balanced Mexican street food. The meat is salted very well, I suspect by doing a slight cure on the meat -- leaving the meat in salt for minutes to hours before cooking. The salsas have great bite without being too spicy. The thicker masa bases of the huarache and the sopes are good, albeit a bit too hard to cut through.
