Hi! I’ve been a loyal customer at Super Nice for the past year and a half, coming in at least once a week—often more. I love the coffee, and one of my favorite items has been the jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Recently, I discovered that combining it with the potato chorizo (another standout item on the menu) made for an amazing combination. I’ve ordered this custom combo—jalapeño biscuit with potato chorizo—twice without any issue. However, when I went to order it again today, I was told they could no longer make this customization. The barista mentioned, word-for-word, that “someone complained about the price and ruined it for everyone.” For clarity, the last time I ordered it, they had rung it up as an egg and cheese biscuit with added potato chorizo, but I had clearly stated I didn’t want the egg and cheese—just the biscuit with chorizo. The barista at the time was kind and made the adjustment, charging me accordingly. Given that all these components exist under the savory section of the menu, it seems reasonable to expect that small customizations—especially for regular customers—would be possible. Instead, I was told quite bluntly today that I’d have to order the full egg and cheese biscuit just to get the chorizo, even after I explained I had received the same order just two days ago. I was told the change was going into effect “now.” I’m incredibly disappointed—not just by the refusal to make a simple modification, but by the rude way it was communicated. I see these baristas every week and happily wait in long lines because the food and coffee have always been worth it. I’ve recommended this spot to many friends and brought visitors here often, but after today’s experience, I’m reconsidering. At the end of the day, it’s a small difference in price. If a neighborhood café can’t accommodate reasonable requests—especially for loyal customers—and does so with such dismissiveness, it really takes away from the experience. With regard to the owner’s response: You are welcome, didn’t have an option to bring it to you personally. You can institute any policy you want, that’s not my business but it can always be conveyed with politeness. I wasn’t demanding that item be made no matter what. Also, the way your menu is drawn up, it seems confusing because i didn’t think of this combination by myself. The “savory” section looks like the items can be customized with the fillings listed underneath. The attitude of your response is quite telling. Thanks for taking the time.

During my recent visit to “Super Nice Coffee and Bakery by Danny Macaroons,” I was greeted not by the conventional walk-in ambiance but by a charming service window, through which the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods tantalizingly seeped out. This unique setup paved the way for a personal and delightful interaction with a knowledgeable employee who took the time to inquire about my preferences and made tailored recommendations. The highlight of this encounter was their suggestion of the Chocolate Mocha Donut - a confection that transcended my expectations in every bite. 1. Exclusivity: Served fresh from the window, this donut immediately set a tone of exclusivity and attention to detail. 2. Warmth: The warmth of the donut added a comforting touch to the cool outdoor exchange, making each bite all the more inviting. 3. Texture: Its chewiness offered the perfect resistance, creating a satisfying mouthfeel that balanced tenderness with a gratifying chew. 4. Flavor Mastery: The intensity of the chocolate and mocha flavors was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing a depth of flavor that was both bold and harmonious. 5. Sensory Experience: Each bite was an exploration of taste and craftsmanship, proving that high-quality ingredients and expert baking can transform a simple donut into an extraordinary experience. 6. Unmatched Delight: It’s been years since I’ve encountered a donut of this caliber - a testament to the bakery’s unparalleled excellence in the pastry craft. 7. Complexity: The donut’s intricate flavor profile was a masterpiece of baking artistry, where every ingredient contributed to a rich, layered experience. 8. Aromatic Invitation: Even before the first bite, the aromatic blend of chocolate and coffee was a promise of the indulgence to come. 9. Aesthetic Charm: Visually, the donut was a work of art, with a glossy glaze that beckoned from behind the service window. 10. Memorable Aftertaste: The lingering aftertaste was a sophisticated finale, an enduring reminder of a culinary journey well worth repeating. In essence, the service window at “Super Nice Coffee and Bakery by Danny Macaroons” served as a portal to a world of exquisite tastes and textures. The interaction with the staff, combined with the exceptional quality of the Chocolate Mocha Donut, made this more than just a purchase; it was a memorable gourmet adventure that I look forward to revisiting.

I’m not even fished eating my food but I had to stop to RAVE about this place. They had a really interesting menu so I splurged a bit and over ordered knowing we could eat the pastry later and boy am I glad. Frankly I should have ordered more. I ordered on uber eats and everything arrived still warm and amazing. We got the Cheddar Jalapeño breakfast sandwich with egg cheese potato and chorizo and the croissant breakfast sandwich with the same fillings. Both are excellent! The Biscuit sandwich has a baked sunny side up egg that is just the right amount of runny in a sandwich for it to be tasty but not too messy and the croissant had the eggs with the chorizo and potato cooked into it like an omelette making it shockingly easy to eat given that croissants are pretty delicate! They both had a good amount of cheese to make sure it was never dry. The guava and cheese pastry was absolutely amazing. I might order like 4 next time. The tart tangy guava pairs so nicely with the pastry cheese giving you a bright and creamy and buttery and crisp pastry. Absolutely delightful I would go back just for these! We also got the Kouign-Amann which was light buttery crisp and not too sweet. The texture was just perfect and my BF who doesn't love overly sweet pastry particularly loved this. When you bite I to the flaky crispy exterior your nose fills with the wonderful aroma of butter and sugar but it does not feel heavy. The last individual item we got was the cinnamon roll which was good but diminished by being surrounds by so many excellent items left it overshadowed. If someone brought me one I would be quite please but I'll take half a dozen guava pastries if I am ordering myself The last thing we got was a half dozen donuts. We selected the "bakery chooses the flavors" option but did put a note to say we love unusual flavors and they did not disappoint! Check out the pic and tbh we have not eaten the donuts yet but they look awesome and I can't wait for my afternoon snack! Seriously check this place out. I def found my new go to splurge-y breakfast place. Seriously go check this place out.
