Adrenaline sports massage — Local services in New York

I wanted to find a nearby place in my neighborhood for massage and Adrenaline did not disappoint. I booked a same-day 40 min neck and shoulder massage with Ally during my lunch. Booking was super easy on their website, and they also take walk-ins.

Upon arrival, Ally greeted me with a beautiful smile and energy to match. I filled out a short form and we began right away. I requested a deep tissue massage and Ally delivered bravely (I yelled a little) as she got INTO THE DEEPEST PARTS where the demons were living and helped me release so much!!! Like she punched that demon right out of my shoulder! She is incredibly strong and really amazing like she can see through your skin to the mess underneath, and smooth it all out. I will become a regular here for sure. They also do facials so I’m excited to try that. It’s important to me to put my money back into the local neighborhood and supporting a Black woman owned business makes me feel that much better...

Super close within the neighborhood for me, and wanted to give them a try. Was able to find a decent discount through Groupon which I appreciated so that I did not have to pay full price as a first time visitor. The experience was disappointing. It could’ve been due to the fact I had the Groupon and gave me a crappier quality massage but I did not leave that massage with any less pain than I walked in with. As someone who just completed a cross country move, could not have been more eager to receive this massage. The customer service is top notch but the massage was such a let down. I specifically asked for a deep pressure on their intake form and verbally in conversation. It was more of a light tough and none of my knots were smoothed out and what was done on one side was not matched on the other. Glad I didn’t pay full price but still was a waste. I scheduled an appointment with them for a 2:30p massage specifically with a female masseuse. When I get there they tell me my appointment was an hour ago. I checked my email. They had emailed me, two hours ago, saying that they were rescheduling my massage for 130 no phone call just an email. Then the person that worked there was an older man. I asked if there will be a female masseuse, and he was very confused he said no, I’m the only one here today. So I had to walk out after not receiving any services, it was an hour away from my house so now two hours gone and no one has yet to call me back to reschedule.
