After a few other photographers tried to upcharge me thousands of dollars for a wedding photography package, I felt like I’d never find a professional photographer who would listen to my vision and be able to execute on it.

In planning my wedding I learned that most vendors only listen long enough until they figure out how to pull emotional cords and then dip into my pockets. It's disgusting.

This happened with venues, florists and photographers.

Then I messaged Leonard. He got back to me within the hour and we were able to talk through my wants and needs and settle on a contract that was fair and equitable for both of us.

I didn't need a music video of my wedding produced by a videographer. I'm not famous and didn't need tens of thousands of shots from a team of photographers. I wanted the ceremony captured in pictures, along with wedding party photos and some candids of our guests during the cocktail hour - some great shots I could post on my social accounts and something to include along with this year's Christmas card.

Leonard was fully committed to this. He arrived early, set up, and began shooting. He got amazing shots of us getting ready, the ceremony, the wedding party, the guests, everything. And his turnaround time was only 8 days.

Leonard is an amazing person and a professional in his field. I reached out to Leonard on the knot app,  early 2023  for our Nov. 2023 wedding. He responded quickly to my messages. We arranged a phone meeting. He was able to answer all of my questions and review the packages he offered. He was able to work around my needs. He does offer engagement photos in his packages. That's the time he uses to get to know the couple & make them feel comfortable being photographed for their big day. My Husband and I did not need engagement photos, so we agreed to meet at the end of summer. Leonard spent about 1.5 hours with us that  evening. We reviewed our needs for the wedding day- which moments were most important to us and what not to waste his time on.  I myself am not photogenic, this was one of my main concerns. Leonard reassured me that it wasn't a problem for him. On our wedding day Leonard arrived at the church  on time, he set up quickly and was already to go.  During the reception Leonard was effective in taking the traditional family photos, along with all the fun moments- bouquet toss, garter removal, cake cutting, guest...

My wife and I had the pleasure to work with Leo for our wedding ceremony and photoshoot. He was super professional and personable. We had a very small wedding of only 12 people so we kept the photo package small since we didn't have a ton of guests to focus on. Leo was able to fit right in and charm all of the guests as if he was always meant to be there. He doesn't come with a ton of equipment but that may vary based on the package you're looking for. He was very affordable and made us feel like rockstars when taking photos. He is an excellent hype man and reassured us whenever we felt awkward or out of place. Neither my wife or I are big on photoshoots because they can feel very vain so Leo was able to mix in a lot of natural candid shots in between the formal shoot which made for some nice lifelike photos. The one thing I will callout is that given his light equipment load, he didn't come with a ton of lighting options which could have come in handy for the church since it was a bit dim in the sanctuary.
