I would take a picture but I ate all my food then remembered the picture lol 😆 😅. Very delicious and vibrant. Also the women are beautiful and professional even when dealing with a difficult customer. Also it appears they are bilingual in both English and Spanish. I had no difficulty ordering my food. They had so many options that looked 100% on point I didn't know which platter to pick. I wish I could have tried a little bit of everything, but that's me being greedy. Only complaint I would say I had was the macaroni salad could be better but it was edible so not too shabby. Read moreFound this place by accident just walking on Broadway looking for a spot to get some tea to warm my bones.
Everything looked good but had tea on my mind so I got a mint tea to stay. Upon paying for my tea I asked what type of soup they had and she mentioned they had San cocho which is a Dominican soup I happened to have had many years ago and LOVED. So I jumped on that!.
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting this lady who took care of me and shameful me forgot her name but she was a beautiful soul. Her personality and warmth made me feel so welcomed…like I was coming to her home for a meal.
I will definitely go back and try the other dishes like the oxtails with rice and peas. I am from the Caribbean so Dominican food isn’t foreign to me. The atmosphere it’s very laid back with locals hanging out enjoying their drinks or foods and maybe watching a game( no sound though) or listening to music on jukebox.
I noticed as I was savoring my soup, people really treated the ladies behind the counter who served them with such respect and love…that says a lot about this place and seriously can’t...
Read moreFor this Spanish establishment to be so racist to black customers is crazy! I just had spent almost $40 of food from them not only to not accommodate me but treat me so bad and so rude I have to warn folks! I had came in and order alot of food...I paid in credit card and when I had tapped my card, the transaction took and extra $10! On top of the overpriced food they had charged me. When I had ask the lady that served me and the manager to get my extra $10 back. Not only they was mean to me but looked and me with distain as if I was at fault! I wasn't even nasty to them! In fact i was very nice...I had rectify and just only got back $5. It's bigger than the money...the way I was treated is unacceptable! DO NOT CONTINUE TO PATRONIZE RACIST ESTABLISHMENTS...
