Headline: Expensive, Small Portions, and HAIR IN FOOD I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt like I really needed to for this place I tried this afternoon. I was stoked to try this new place that recently opened not far from home. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and the Cheesy Monsta Monsta, and the whole thing was super disappointing. First was a hoagie with seitan and so much tomato sauce that the Monsta fell apart immediately. But if unexpected and messy, at least it was tasty.(btw the name and picture are extremely misleading, it wasn’t even remotely cheesy... and was more like a meatball sub than anything? And came with the options ‘rare’, ‘medium rare’, ‘medium’ etc. applying to seitan? Why? I don’t know.)The Caesar? A HUGE disappointment, this salad included approx two pieces of avocado, the equivalent of a single wilty chicken nugget amidst a sea of romaine and dressing, and A GIANT LONG BLACK HAIR NESTLED EVER SO INTIMATELY WITHIN. I called to complain and wasn’t even apologized to. The lady said she was going to interface with the kitchen and she’d call me back and NEVER DID. I am so thoroughly disappointed....
Read moreThis place looks as if they offer an amazing and tasty assortment of vegan foods, unfortunately, I was unable to try any of them due to my experience with the employees. After calling the restaurant to make sure they were still open for takeout during the pandemic, I drove over to place to order and leave. When I arrived, the gates were down and the employees were inside. One man, assumingly the manager, came to the door and rudely told me they were only taking orders from Uber Eats and I would not be able to order online and pickup. His words specifically were "we're in the middle of a pandemic." This is an obvious case of online delivery price-gouging. What difference does it make if I pick up the food myself versus the Uber eats delivery driver? Uber Eats drivers are just as, if not more, at risk as individuals looking to pick up their own meals. By only using Uber Eats, they can justify higher prices to customers suffering from lost income. I find it unethical that this business would raise prices and exploit customers like this during this time. I have no plans of attempting to buy from this establishment...
Read moreI ordered nacho’s with guacamole & mac and cheese. I was so excited to have a dairyfree meal. What I didn’t expect was the mac & cheese to be straight out of the box. They use Daiya’s Mac And Cheese boxed mac and cheese and only put one scoop of the nasty-ness into a thick cardboard containter. The container weighed more then the boxed mac and cheese. The nachos for the guacamole was very cheap. there was mostly crumbs & honestly looked like chips you get from the bodega. Very salty. The guacomole was watery and tastless. They throw the guacomole and the nachos on one plate so by the time it arrived, all the crumbs from the bottom of the bag of nacho’s were stuck in the guacomole. I couldn’t decide which was more tasteless the guacomole or the fake mac and cheese. They really shouldnt use Annie’s recipe OUT OF A BOX and advertise it as restaurant made. People that care about what goes in their body can tell the difference between restaurant made & store bought food. Luckily Uber Eats gave me a full refund just from the photo that...
