All Borough Party Rental of NYC — Local services in New York

I can’t believe that I’m JUST getting around to leaving a review for All Boro! I own and operate a boutique NYC-based catering company and have been using ABPR for our rental needs for the past few year.

PRICING: We found them out of frustration from getting jerked around and price-gouged by the other NYC rental companies. I think what appealed to us the most about them was their very fair pricing. We’ve been in business for about a decade and have used pretty much ALL of the major rental companies out there. Comparatively, they definitely have THE MOST COMPETITIVE pricing.

SERVICE: Being an owner of a service based business, I’m a bit of a stickler for good service. Each and every one of their representatives, whether through email or via phone, are always friendly, professional, and respond quickly to inquiries.

The delivery staff are no different, always friendly, patient and professional. This is so important, especially when dealing with some of the difficult venues we partner with.

ABOVE & BEYOND: I can’t begin to tell you how many time ABPR have SAVED OUR A**. We sometimes get VERY last minute catering requests and sometimes find ourselves in a pinch needing help with rentals at the very last minute…sometimes less than 48hrs notice. They deliver every single time! If there’s any item that’s not available, they will go above and beyond to find a similar replacement. (But it’s very rare that an item isn’t available)

One specific example that comes to mind is from a couple of years ago. We catered a very high profile event and the nightmare event planner insisted that we use their preferred rental company. Of course, that company SCREWED us and didn’t include chairs with our delivery..and guests were arriving in an hour.

I called ABPR in a panic…btw, they’re in BK and my event was in Manhattan, and this was around noon…the height of lunch rush hour (if you know, you know). No EXAGGERATION…90 chairs were delivered to the event in a little over an hour to my event. If you work in events in New York City, you know that this is absolutely unheard of.

As we grow to be a larger company, we will continue to use ABPR for our event needs and are so grateful for their patience, service, and...

Update: Changing review to 4 stars. Would still absolutely use their services again because once you get their quote and the contract is signed, everything runs smoothly and they have such a great variety of products! The delivery guys are great too. I changed it to 4 stars because it is hard to reach them initially to receive a quote. If you send an email out for a quote, you might not get an answer because they seem to be extremely busy, especially during the warmer seasons. The best thing to do is to put in an online quote and then follow up by calling them. I had better luck in the mornings.

Other than that, i rented from them for our baby shower, and it went off without a hitch after the contract was all signed and ready to go. I used All Borough Party Rental's services in June 2021 for my backyard wedding (COVID times, ya know?). I couldn't have been happier with their service! They were on time, the rentals came as described, and since this was my first time using their service, they took the time to carefully listen to what my needs were. Highly recommended. Literally don't waste your time. I rented 20 white folding chairs, my husband went to pick it up and they look so nasty, dirty, and the paint was peeling off. They dont look nothing like how they have on their page. I spoke to a lady and she said well that's what you get because the chairs are $1.85 each. What kind of service is that? Even if the chairs are ONE CENT you still have to give good quality chairs and a good customer service because if you don't nobody is going to recommend this place next time. That lady is not even on top of her work and doesn't even know what's going on because she also said that I rented the chairs today as last minute witch is not true because I have emails of the estimate and some form that I needed to sign BEFORE I rented the chairs and BEFORE my husband went to pick it up, witch I did. WHEN SOMEBODY OPEN A SMALL OR BIG 'BUSINESS' THEY DO IT WITH THE MENTALITY OF GIVING THE BEST SERVICE, FROM WHAT I LEARN FROM THIS PLACE IS THAT THEY ONLY DO IT BECAUSE OF THE MONEY....
