Where do I start? For starters, Kathy is SUCH A SWEETHEART. She is so positive, warm, and a pleasure to work with. Second, her studio is beautiful!! For something as unpleasant as a wax, her environment makes you feel comfortable immediately, a true reflection of who she is. Finally, this wax experience has been the most pleasant one ever. The wax she uses does not pull on the skin so while there is mild discomfort, its nothing like what I've felt with soft wax or other mediums. I had minimal swelling and no irritation. Bottom line: Kathy is a true gem of an esthetician and I look forward to seeing her again. Saw their grand opening promo and needed a wax anyway, and let me just say you can tell customer service is important to the waxer! For starters, the first thing i noticed when i walked into the wax room was the flower wall; so cute!! The decor and ambiance of the studio was so elegant and luxe. But the waxer herself was SO SWEET. I've never felt so comfortable with someone doing my wax before as I did with her which is what urged me to write this review. Not sure what was different about the technique she used as opposed to other waxes I've received, but I oddly enough felt very little pain.
