This station takes you Brighton Beach. Great station , very reliable (B) train service, while the (Q). All as this is a great station. This is the last stop on the (B), which will go to Sheepshead Bay, while the next stop on the (Q) will be Ocean Pkwy or Sheepshead Bay. Overall, very good station. It's the last stop for B trains, if you want to go further take the Q. Great station to catch the Q or B . Plenty of seating , and a restroom open until 12 A.M.

Clean (by New York City's subway's standards) and relatively safe around the clock. Service of the B and Q trains is usually not too bad, but when bad, it is abysmal! Occasional buskers, especially in warmer weather. Lots of Russians and Chinese. The vending machines for MetroCards work fairly well. Announcements are always garbled, but hey, this is New York City's subway. :|

I can't remember a damn thing about the last time I had ever aboard this Station. 35 years ago, I was a Special Ed childhood student attending P.S. 225 with my teachers and classmates aboard the then D Train Express at the time (which that was 1983). I never forget that time or day. Times go by fast. 35 years later today during severe weather and Brooklyn half marathon, l got off the bus due to a marathon and walked along the diverse neighborhood to a subway station. With that being said, good service on the IND B train and the BMT Q train. However, it needs changing including ADA compliant Elevators, and expanding the B Train service to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue during Midday service and after Rush Hour service, so that passengers besides me can have more options to choose between B and Q train services. And improving wheelchair accessible and all the perks. I think it sounds like a good idea. Would you agree? Oh yeah and don't forget to extend the existing Jamaica-Broad Street Z train during Midday and evening service...

Hometown train station but they are the worst at indicating which is the next B train to depart (end of the b line), both trains separated by 2 long flight of stairs. You see elderly and children sprint from train to train in the snow just so they can be on the next train out only to be tricked at the last second as the correct b train pulls up out of the blue and departs leaving 15 seconds for passengers to sprint from the other platform never to make it to...

I love the view. After leaving Coney Island, we were going to transfer to the B train, but it was not running on Easter Sunday, so while waiting for the next train, the views were amazing and I had the opportunity to catch some great pics. Seeing the beach at the end of the street to capture a perfect horizontal view was perfect. Brooklyn never disappoints when it comes to views. Just make sure that when the opportunity presents itself...have the...
