I had a truly disturbing experience at Little Georgia on August 28th, 2024, around 6 PM.
I ordered a chicken shawarma to go, and while waiting (for about 20 minutes), I noticed something alarming. The vertical gyro spit was empty, and there were cooked chicken leftovers in the tray underneath. The employee brought out a new spit of raw chicken, wrapped in plastic, and proceeded to place it on the grill. As he unwrapped it, raw chicken juices dripped heavily onto the cooked chicken in the tray.
I assumed that the contaminated chicken would be discarded. However, to my shock, the employee picked it up and started preparing my order with it. When I confronted him, he became defensive and claimed the food was fine, despite the clear contamination. His response was not only unprofessional, keeping in mind that I was a regular customer, but also aggressive, suggesting I "might be a health inspector" and mumbling rude comments.
While I was unable to record the incident, I did take photos of the new spit after it had begun grilling and of the contaminated cooked chicken in the tray, as well as the employee who was involved.
This behavior shows a complete disregard for food safety and puts customers at risk of foodborne illness. It's incredibly concerning that such careless practices are taking place. I strongly urge others to be cautious about eating here, and I hope the Department of Health inspects this facility soon to prevent any potential...

This cute little spot dishes out a variety of Kachapuri and other snacks, including shawarma
Didn't know there were so many types of Kachapuri
They have imeruli, megruli, lazuri & adjaruli
Imeruli is a type of cheese Megruli is imeruil Kachapuri with cheese on the outside as well.
I had the imeruli and the adjaruli
Imeruli is a bread baked with cheese in the middle. It was sliced and served like pizza. The soft dough and salty cheese give this a unique flavor.
The adjaruli shaped like a boat filled with sulguni cheese, is topped with butter, and egg was ridiculously good! It comes from the coastal region of Adjara in Georgia
Fresh out of the oven. You rip it, dip it and eat it. rip the bread dip. The cheese is a little like mozzarella , was more milky, creamy, and with the butter and egg.
Couldn't stop eating it! It was very addictive in taste.

Read moreToday is Mother's Day. I am from Georgia, and Georgia's food is my favorite. My son ordered food from this restaurant through Uber. He spent around $60. The food was horrible. I have never eaten such disgusting food in my life. Everything was cold from the fridge. Is it a restaurant or a supermarket? One food that we were able to eat was Khachapuri with spinach, not enough cheese, but at least fresh. The soup kharcho looked disgusting, starting with an even color and taste. Stew from meet that cost about $16 or $17 was horrible too. We put all the food except khachapuri in the garbage and ordered from another place in Bensonhurst. I was shocked with quility...
