Absolutely not.
I drove an hour to try this place. I called before coming, I was told I don’t need reservation because reservations start at 5, I got there 3:45. I want to sit near the play area because my daughter is very young and I want to stay close. They refused to let me sit, saying the seats available are for big parties, and we can either sit by the door far from play area or the outdoor seating (the Heater was not working) which is closer to the play area. My 2 year old and I end up sitting in the outdoor cold area because the large tables were reserved (they were empty before we came, empty when we left—at 4:40) and the lady refused to let us sit there.
There are 3 employees at the play area but they couldn’t see my 2 year old got pushed and kissed in the mouth by a big kid. $15 for your kid to get violated, take my advise do not leave your kid there unsupervised. I was right there and heard my daughter cry out. I rushed over and all the staff did was say “oh what happened oh did she get hurt?” Thank god my daughter speaks, she told me and demonstrated what happened.
Aside from that, the restaurant tries to be upscale and elegant, it’s actually really disorganized and barbaric. The staff gossips in their language, because every staff member kept whispering and gawking my way after I told the staff at the play area my daughter won’t be playing here anymore.
If you are a mother to a young child, skip on this one, they are disorganized and the big kids will shove the little ones. Don’t waste your money.
The waiter came, muttered something in his language, at this point I wish I left but I drove an hour to get there so I stayed. I ordered, the food came, was left at the table while I was attending to my child in the play area, no one informed me it was ready. Again, disorganized.
Food was fine, except the staff started taking my stuff before I finished. I had a burger and fries. I finished my burger, was eating the fries. The staff touched my fries, put it on the table and took the wooden stand away that held the burger and fries.
Another waiter comes, I ask for the bill. He gives me the bill and I put my card in the flap. When he’s walking by I pick up the bill and hand it to him— he grabs the damn bill and puts it down so aggressively on the table and took my card out to swipe it in front of me. I was so disgusted, and then the barbaric waiter asks for a tip.
Overall, I wish I left within the first 5 minutes. They should change the restaurant from halal steakhouse to uzbeki steakhouse— it was such an unwelcoming environment if you’re not uzbeki. The staff gossips and then collectively give you a bad experience. I would have let it slide if it was just the play area issue, because kids will be kids. But the way the staff had an attitude seating me, the way the food was left to get cold, the way no one checked on us while eating, the way the waiter slammed the damn tab down, we drove an hour and I was just standing there waiting to be seated somewhere only be to seated outside in the cold…. Unorganized and barbaric.
I won’t be going there again, very...
Read moreI believe this place is highly overpriced compared to fair value of overall worth . I would not go here regardless of anything. The food is good quality or above average and could be said it’s good . But the prices do not justify the quality . $28 for a cheeseburger and fries . Sure they use real cheese, their small baby onions on the burger taste good, their ketchup is store-made or not Heinz, more tomato-less sweet, the meat is also not your tradtional beef, but a mix of lamb also, but for the price , it is not fair . The fair value of these items should be $10 for the burger and $5 for French fries or $ 4 for side salad. But for double the price , you are being fooled into paying a high price . Even with their spacious and large environment , $20 dollars would be the most a fair value can be said since you are sitting inside and taking up space. One should have a lower price for take-out, if so. Going here is paying for a name-brand item and getting the same item as a generic item of the same price . So , if you like buying channel and Gucci , this place will fit your false sense of quality and social status of going to a restaurant and taking pictures with the staff that are dressed in stylish clothing . I only bought 2 goscht city burgers, because it was buy one , get one free on uber eats for 13.99, which makes me question, how the store price , inside, is 28 with fries. It's almost as if you are paying an extreme markup for taking up space inside and making them clean your plates. But I assume that is what gratuity, tip, is for. That extra 10-20% on top of every item. Can you just imagine, $28 for a medium sized bun, 3 oz of beef/lamb patty, 1.5 oz of non proccsed cheese, 1/2 oz of baby onions in oil, 1/2 oz of pickles that are slightly salty and having the bun slightly burnt with , while being oily a little. Then you get 4 oz of salad or 8 oz of french fries. I got black gloves with my order since I ordered to-go, I assume for my hands no to be oily. A weird, but nice touch , but it ruins the experience of eating food with ones-hand. But for $28, in-store price, I am surprised. For 13.99 for buy one get one burget free, I feel like I got a slightly above average deal. But seeing in-store prices, it feels like I got a really, amazing, deal, but deep-down, I feel like $10 a burget would be the most anybody can charge for the...
Read moreFrom the moment you step foot into this culinary paradise, you are greeted with an atmosphere that is nothing short of enchanting. The restaurant seems to pulsate with a vibrant energy, a testament to the dedication and passion that have been funneled into this establishment. The service here is unrivalled, seamlessly combining warmth with professionalism, ensuring that every patron feels both welcomed and valued.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the food. Beginning with the bone marrow, a delicacy that is rich, luscious, and prepared to perfection, teasing out flavors that are profound and deeply satisfying. Following this splendid start is the array of burgers; each a masterpiece in their own right. The lamb burger is a euphoric journey of taste, showcasing a harmony of spices and succulence that could only be described as heavenly. The gosht burger and rio burger follow suit, bringing complex layers of flavors and textures that dance harmoniously on the palate, beckoning you to savor each bite deliberately and appreciatively.
But it doesn't stop there; the oxtail soup is a symphony of flavors that manages to be both hearty and exquisite, offering comfort and luxury in each spoonful. It encapsulates the very essence of culinary artistry, marrying tradition with innovation, resulting in a dish that is nothing short of a triumph.
Regarding the price, one cannot put a price tag on an experience that transcends the ordinary, lifting you into a realm where culinary excellence meets soulful indulgence. In fact, it would not be a stretch to say that this establishment offers a feast that is a steal for the quality and craftsmanship involved in each dish.
To the naysayers who criticize the meat as tasteless, it seems perhaps a re-calibration of their taste buds is in order, as each bite here is a testimony to the sheer excellence and mastery of the chefs. This is not merely food; this is an experience, an adventure of flavors that elevates dining to a level of artistry seldom witnessed.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly wish nothing but prosperity and continued success to this beacon of culinary brilliance. May they continue to flourish, enchanting patrons with their gastronomic creations that are nothing short of poetry on a plate. This is not just a restaurant; it's a celebration of food at its...
