My journey with this Tourneau(now Bucherer 3 Bryant Park) location started in 2018 when I got my very first luxury watch and one of the sales representatives helped me in picking up a perfect model as I was a bit confused between two potential watches. She later introduced me to Klaus Olivet who is probably one of the best in business when it comes to any watches be it specification, details, movements and so on. He is extremely knowledgeable, organized, courteous and detail oriented. He is very serious when it comes to watches that he maintains his own notes/logs (which speaks a lot about him). I highly regard him and thoroughly enjoyed working with him. He is usually very busy as he has lot of clients, however, he makes it a point to check with you whenever you are there in person for any kind of service or reach out to him offline via email/text. Whenever I had a question for Klaus, he was always friendly, enthusiastic, and genuine - I had a phenomenal customer experience each time we spoke. He did help me to get servicing for couple of my watches - I scratched the bezel by wearing a bracelet, and the other needed full service as it was not keeping well with time (it needed overhaul/full service). Whenever I need any clarification related to watches, I consult with him. He has given me sound advice as a friend every time, not even once as a salesman. He also helped me to get one of my dream watch in 2020 that I wear only on special occasions. Recently, I wanted to get a special watch for my dad, who retired last year due to COVID-19. I haven’t seen him in person for more than 1.5 years now and wanted to get a special watch for him on his 70th birthday in August. I did speak about this to Klaus (5-6 months ago), who was upfront and assured me, he will do his best to get it, however he did mention, it will be difficult to put an exact date on it. He did above and beyond to get the special time piece. I can’t wait to give to him in person. It’s a brilliant time piece that he always wanted, and I can’t thank Klaus and the team at Tourneau. Read moreZero stars. Terrible products, terrible service. Stay away, don't buy anything from Bucherer (formerly Tourneau Corner), don't get anything serviced there. Happily purchased a watch in September. About 6 weeks later, the watch stopped working. Brought it in for service. Never received a response until I reached out over 4 weeks later. They needed to send it to the manufacturer. No response until a month later when I reached out again - Bucherer would follow up. They were "working on it." A month later, no word - I followed up again. Still working on it. A month later, I followed up again - watch has been serviced, now they are checking/confirming. Two weeks later, I reached out again (see how that works - I must reach out for updates, Bucherer never does anything first) and turns out the watch was delivered back to the retail store 3 days ago, Bucherer never told me until I reached out. The next day - 6 months after I bought a brand new watch, and after not having the watch for 4 months - I was told the watch was fixed and I could pick it up. Terrible service by Bucherer. I wanted a refund - Bucherer refused. Now every time I look at my watch, I think that I'm a fool and a loser for buying the watch from Bucherer. Bucherer turned a happy experience into a terrible one. Don't be a fool or a loser - don't buy from Bucherer.
UPDATE: I see that Bucherer has responded to my review and asked me to contact them through their online contact form. See how that works? They have my information in their records, they see my name, they have my email address and my phone number. Bucherer could easily reach out to me proactively to discuss my experience. Yet they want me to affirmatively reach out to them, yet again? Just more of the same...
