I came here around 10 pm on Monday, August 27th. My parents came in earlier and my mom was looking for some running shoes. She wasn't sure about her size considering the different fits of her shoes, so she asked for a size 8 until a size 9.5 (every time a request came in, the eye rolling that came and small sighs here and there were very obvious and also the guy who was supposed to check the stock in the back at one point did not even try to get one of her shoes). Each time we asked about an availability in size, we could see the young lady who was helping us glaring towards her peer and rolling her eyes.
Hey, I work in retail. I know how tiring it can be especially for such a high traffic store with such a diverse customer base. However, nowhere in my experience are staff allowed to show their frustrations at an older lady who is genuinely trying to buy shoes. Instead of being helped and guided with care; we felt disrespected and well, stupid. Read moreThe regular customer service was blah here, because despite asking at least 3 people for a reasonably cheap running shoe, they kept showing me shoes that were $150+. Do I care that some celeb endorsed a shoe? No I do not. I just want something comfortable.
The worst part was the door guard, who needs to be replaced by someone who knows what they're doing. I got stopped and had my bag confiscated because someone 10 feet in front of me set off the alarm, when I was not anywhere near the door. I told the man-child security guard this and he ignored me, then proceeded to radio something in, and when he finally got done ignoring my questions about what was going on, he dropped the shoes at me and walked away, and didnt even turn back when I aggressively suggested that he learn how to do his job.
Won't be coming back here, that's for sure, which is a shame because it's so close to my office and I...
