I’ve trained BJJ with Charlie, Mike, Tad, and Vik for over a year—they’re amazing at helping you improve, whether for competition, self-defense, or fitness. The gym has a supportive, no-drama community and hosts seminars with world-class BJJ champions. The noon schedule is unique for Flushing and even attracts visitors from other top gyms. My family trains here, and the flexible schedule works well with our busy lives. The kids’ program is excellent, with great instruction and supervision. Parking is easy—I usually find a spot within a block (for now). Members are able to access the weight room to supplement any strength and conditioning training. Unlike the MTA, where fares rise and service declines — the gym has reinvested so much in itself for its members delivering quality, convenience, and value. Try it out and see you in class!

This place cares about your overall training, growth and development. Trainers make you feel at home even if it's your first class. Prices are very good for everything you get at this place. One price for everything, Muay Thai , Bjj and weight room, also a on staff doctorate PT that helps you w injuries you may be going through, unlike other gyms that adds to your monthly cost if you want additional amenities. If you want a place that tries to bring the best out of you, this is the place, but if you just wanna train just to say you train then don't go here cause they will make you work!!

I had a splended learning experience from Instructor Charlie and Instructor Tom. They were attentive to what we were doing. Always giving us feedback and examples on techniques that were taught to us. They answered any questions anyone asked and even demonstrated it to us. I would 100% recommend Peak Performance to anyone wanting to learn about BJJ or Muy Thai.

I recently joined Peak Performance Fitness Muay Thai & BJJ, and my experience has been nothing short of outstanding. Here’s a breakdown of my impressions:

Facilities: The gym is well-equipped with everything you need for both Muay Thai and BJJ. The Muay Thai area has several heavy bags, pads, and a spacious matted area perfect for striking drills and sparring. The BJJ section is also fully padded with high-quality mats for grappling and rolling, ensuring safety during intense ground work. The gym also features strength and conditioning equipment, which complements the martial arts training. Cleanliness is maintained at a high standard, and there's plenty of space for training without feeling cramped.

Coaches and Instruction: Both the Muay Thai and BJJ instructors are highly skilled and bring a wealth of knowledge to each class. The Muay Thai coach has a solid background in fighting and focuses on a mix of traditional techniques and modern fight strategies. His approach emphasizes practical self-defense as well as competition training. In BJJ, the coaches is a black belt with years of experience and a fantastic ability to break down complex moves into easily digestible steps. All instructors offer individual attention and foster an inclusive atmosphere where students of all levels can learn and improve. They’re approachable and provide clear feedback, which has been essential for my growth.

Class Structure: Classes are well-organized and divided by skill level, making it easy for beginners to learn the fundamentals without feeling overwhelmed. For Muay Thai, each session starts with a warm-up, followed by technique drilling, partner work, and, for advanced students, sparring. The intensity is adjustable based on your fitness and goals. BJJ classes begin with a technical warm-up, followed by instruction on specific positions or submissions, and end with live rolling. The balance between technique and practical application in both disciplines is excellent.

Community: The atmosphere in the gym is supportive and encouraging. People are respectful of each other's skill levels and help newer members feel welcome. It’s not just a place to train but a community of like-minded individuals passionate about martial arts. Whether you’re there for fitness, self-defense, or to compete, you’ll find others with similar goals. The mix of backgrounds and experience levels fosters a learning environment where everyone helps each other improve.

Value for Money: Considering the quality of instruction and the range of classes offered, the gym is reasonably priced. The monthly membership includes access to both Muay Thai and BJJ classes, and there are plenty of time slots available, making it easy to fit training into a busy schedule. Many gyms charge separately for each discipline, so having both under one roof is a huge bonus. Some additional benefits include open mat sessions, sparring nights, and occasional seminars with guest instructors, all included in the membership.

Overall Experience: I’ve had a fantastic experience at this gym. The combination of Muay Thai and BJJ offers a well-rounded martial arts education, and the community and quality of instruction are top-notch. Whether you’re a beginner looking to get into martial arts or an experienced fighter aiming to sharpen your skills, this gym has something to offer. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in striking, grappling, or overall martial...

This place is great. My daughter has been coming here for about 6 months, and I can already see a difference. She’s one of the smallest in her class and used to be one of the slowest. Because of that, she didn’t get picked for sports at school, and other kids wouldn’t pass her the ball. She even stopped liking games like tag because she always got caught early.

Since training here, she’s gotten noticeably faster and has even started joining in during gym class again! It’s definitely not easy—the coaches push them—but in the best way, and it’s clear they care. I’ve also noticed her focus is better when she goes regularly, and it’s been great for her high energy, even in school.

I also love that they practice falling safely. That was something I used to worry about if she ever got knocked down or tripped.

Highly recommend Peak...
