I was starving on my lunch break and usually avoid eating around this neighborhood because I don’t think the food lives up to my standards. I am so glad I stumbled upon this little hole in the wall spot. Honestly it is the epitome of Michelin star quality tucked inside a humble Chinese eatery.

The place is tiny but the flavors are phenomenal. The chef told me the noodles are made from scratch which makes it even better. You can really taste the effort, passion, and love they put into every dish. Every bite reminded me of China, not the typical Chinese food you get anywhere but something truly unique. There was only a little spice but it carried a nice kick with a numbing flavor that made the experience even more authentic.

This hidden gem completely changed my mind about food in the area and I will...

This place was delicious. The noodles were the perfect amount of chewy. The flavors were perfect. The dumblings we're so flavorful you didn't need dipping sauce. We got noodles in chili sauce and beef brisket noodles. Both were delicious, the meat was so tender in the beef brisket. I did wish the noodles in chili oil was a little spicer. But maybe I look to white for the full spice version, 🤣. The person who runs the place and takes your order is so kind. She was able to negotiate us a place to sit. It was busy when we got there, only a few tables in total. Service was quick, and this place is busy. Totally worth it. This place is definitely a gem and I am sure we...

Tried this spot for the first time and had their pork steamed dumplings & shrimp fried rice. The dumplings were delicious. The fried rice was also good but I’d get it without veggies just a preference. I added egg as well. Now - when it comes to adding the egg I had to actually go into the store and speak into the phone so they can translate and understand me. I tried calling ahead of time for pick up but they do not speak English !! Although I get it - ALSO ZERO ENGLISH IS KINDA NUTS ! It was hard to understand each to her before the guy came out with the translator. Overall it seems like a homey restaurant and they...

Saw this on Google before making it to New York. Walked from my Hotel about 5 minutes. Ordered my food. - Fried Rice, Sausage & Shrimp - Fried Noodles, Chicken - DanDan Noodles - Steam Dumplings, Beef & Pork Staff is nice, doesn’t speak English well. But it’s fine mom and pop are nice. Walk back to the hotel and ate EVERYTHING. First time ever having this type of food. I would order it again when I come back to NY. DanDan Noodles and Steam Dumplings is so good, especially with the hot oil they give you.
