MACKTAK — Local services in New York

So I have to write this Review cause I was TERRIFIED of buying anything from this store since reading the bad reviews in here that people have been leaving on this company’s google page so I thought it was going to be another one of those fake dresses stores online and boy was I wrong! so first of all, the costumer service was GREAT, the sales rep that was helping me with my Purchase provided great communication at all times through the company’s WhatsApp, second of all they sent me pictures of the dress and videos before leaving the facility, shipping was so fast, I placed my order on Monday morning and the dress was in my hands BY THURSDAY MORNING!!! 3 day shipping I couldn’t believe how fast! (I live in Canada) The dress is top notch quality, MackTak are the official dealers of a premium brand of beautiful dresses from Turkish called Alfabeta. I’ve been looking for this dress like crazy since I saw mock ups of this dress in several scam online stores that stole the original pictures from the original brand which is Alfabeta, so luckily Macktak are the exclusive Alfa Beta dealer in North America and they were able to get my dream dress to me without any problems. I also read that some people had mixtups with receiving the wrong size, not my case! I got the right size without problem and the right color! This has been the WORST experience I have ever had with any company in my life. I ordered a dress off of MackTak in April; however, it didn't fit me. I emailed them to return it, and they were extremely reluctant for me to return the item (e.g. offering exchanges and so-on). I said I don't want the dress and they said I have to return it in a week and that the will only give me an 85% refund. I did as they said; however, they still have not yet to refund me. I've been going back and forth over email and on the phone getting the same run-around. They even stopped answering my phone calls. They have been repeatedly been saying it's already been "processed". Finally today, I received an email from them saying there was an error on their side, and that they have reprocessed the refund (only 85%). Of course, it's still not in my bank account because this company is extremely incompetent. They didn't even have the decency to give me a full refund even after FOUR months. They held the client (me) to a ridiculous standard of returning a dress within a week; however, they don't hold themselves to the same standard (it's been four months). This is an extremely unethical company. I returned the dress, they resold it, and kept my money. They are liars, stealers, and cheats. Please AVOID...

I can't speak for their merchandize as I refused the delivery. I had a special occasion and needed a dress ASAP. I called macktak mart and was told if I place the order within 10 minutes they will send the package that same day and I would have the dress on Monday (order was placed on Friday). I placed the order right away, on Monday I received a phone call saying my dress could not be shipped the same day and they will ship Monday. I said ok as long as I get it by Thursday. The dress didn't come Thursday as promised. I refused the delivery and called to ask for refund. I WAS SPOKEN TO VERY RUDELY AND WAS TOLD THAT THEIR REFUND POLICY ONLY ALLOWS FOR STORE CREDIT. I WAS SHOCKED AS THEY BROKE THE CONTRACT WITH ME WHEN TWICE THEY PROMISED TO ME THAT I WILL GET THE DRESS BY CERTAIN DATE AND I DIDNT. I was left without a dress and with $800 in store credit from a business that I didn't want to shop from anymore. THEY WERE SO RUDE, WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO MANAGER, THE LADY TOLD ME THAT THE MANAGER WILL SAY THE SAME THING TO ME. AFTER ASKING 10 TIMES TO SPEAK TO MANAGER, SHE PUT ME ON HOLD AND TEN MINUTES LATER TOLD ME THAT MANAGER IS AWAY AND CALL BACK LATER. I TOLD THEM I WILL DISPUTE THE CHARGE BECAUSE THEY HAD THE MERCHANDIZE AND MY MONEY AND THAT'S WHAT I ENDED UP DOING....
