I had found Krystal (Cakelove) on google. I really enjoy supporting family own business and let me tell you she did not disappoint!! She did exactly what I asked for and added more of her own touch and it was beautiful!!!I order a cake for 10 people which really could have fed 30! lol so you really get your money worth and her talent in baking and designing was amazing! She really Superseded my expectations! The cake was a hit! Was done so beautifully for my boyfriend 40th birthday. Also her mother does appetizers which I haven’t tried yet but I will. Asked for a floral graduation cake inspired by some other cakes she had made and she absolutely delivered. The cake was exactly what we expected, if not more. The cake was more than enough for 20 people but nonetheless, more than half of the cake was gone by the end of the party. Coming from a family who usually dislikes cake, it was so surprising seeing how many of them ate AND took home. The cake was visibly fresh and incredibly delicious and came within the discussed time frame. The cake was kept out for hours before the cake cutting commenced and stayed completely intact. I ordered a red velvet with cream cheese filing 2-layer round cake good for 24 people. It was 10” and 7”. The cake decoration was provided by me. Cake presentation was exceptional, it was more beautiful compared to the inspirational picture I showed Krystal. During pick up, address is very clear and in a safe area. Side street parking was no problem. Krystal went an extra mile to help me carry the cake to the car. A trait hard to find these days! Cake tasted so yummy, the sweetness of the icing balanced with the spongy cake and creamy filing. Price is also affordable compared to others. I only discovered Cake Love NY thru google.
