Never returning here again, the bank teller discriminated against me. Went in for the first time to this branch, bank was completely empty. I asked the teller to help me fill out the deposit slip, she refused and was extremely rude. When I insisted a few more times, she still refused and told me to figure it out. I mentioned that other Chase branches will do it, she said, "Well, I do it to other customers that I know as a courtesy, but I won't do it for you". I asked if she can extend me the same courtesy, she said "No, i will not.". Discrimination plain and simple. This bank chooses how to treat you based on the way you look and who you are. Don't waste your time here. If you're wondering why the Chase bank on 108th Street in Queens closed down, now you know the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. You should start treating all of your customers the same. Very surprised as to how Chase treated me even after I insisted that the teller help me. No big deal, I showed up, Vanessa reassigned me to another banker who was already with a client. Waited over an hour and i was told i was late for my appointment (15 mins grace period), that was completely false. It was a miscommunication of Vanessa who tried to hand off my case to another banker. The branch manager is absent. Many staffs walked in and out but only a few actually helping customers. Each time over the last year, I’ve asked for either one when I go in, I’m told they aren’t there. Even though the other reps always ask how they can help, it’s not with any kind of genuineness. I called a few times as well and no one seems to really want to assist. You’re made to feel they want to pass you on, conversation is rushed so they can hang up. There is an overall poor attitude and low morale here and it’s apparent the minute you walk in. No one even looks up or speaks to you.
