I had high hopes for The Hub. I went to their adult orientation last Friday and Mr. Dean said they offer training programs in all sorts of careers. Even their website says it's their mission is dedicated to enhancing the quality of individuals through services to people of all ages and ability levels and stages of life and backgrounds. I went in with the dream of having a career change and become a phlebotomist only to my dismay that you need to have experience in order to take their offered training program. That doesn't make sense when nowhere on their website it states you need experience. Then what's the sense of coming in for an orientation and have a staffer tell you "You do not need experience" when in reality you do. It was a waste of time. They also provide food stamps and pantry and other services. It is like a one stop help center for people. They also provide job placement assistance.
