This has been the place I went all the time for weekend study. But today I was forced to buy drinks here only coz I brought my water bottle and a cold brew coffee from outside store. If I hide it they would not know either. However when the lady told me not to drink outside drinks, I said okay but she said water is fine. So I said fine then I put my coffee bottle inside my backpack, but when I went to buy cheesecake from another tebatian lady, she said no outside drinks including water and I am forced to order a drink right now. I said not now, I just want cheesecake and she said no you cannot have water from the bottle you brought in! What kind of customer service this is! I always clean up my table and throw the trash so they don't even have to clean up my table but only wipe the table. And I now deserved this! This is not fair and I was pretty much forces to buy drinks here even if I don't want it at the moment coz they are afraid I'm going to drink my water??? The lady asked me to look at poster for no outside drinks and food, when I looked up, the post says "Please take care of your personal belongings!" Also when I came in these past few times, the 1st tebetan/Indian looking lady approached right away and asked me what I wanted order and I said I was on a call and would order soon. Then she approached me again with this nonsense! I brought water there before and they never even said a word! I think they are afraid that I would drink my coffee while they are not watching! So I cannot bring any grocery here coz they would afraid I would eat lettuce or tomatoes or drink yogurt here! If I could give a zero star I would, unfortunately, I will never come here again as a value customer after 4-5 months! Don't get me wrong! I love the Tibetan guy her who is the owner unfortunately the waitress are super unprofessional andshould get laid off! I deserve an apology from both ladies working here during the day...
Read moreArya Cafe has such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is absolutely stunningâauthentic Tibetan home-style touches that make you feel like youâve stepped into a peaceful Himalayan retreat. The colors, textures, and traditional elements are thoughtfully arranged, creating a cozy and culturally rich environment. Itâs the kind of place youâd want to sit in for hours, just soaking in the ambiance.
Unfortunately, the customer service was a completely different story. From the moment I walked in, the staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming. But the real issue was the lady manager. Her attitude was shockingly rude and dismissive. Instead of offering help or resolving concerns, she acted like customers were an inconvenience. It was uncomfortable and, honestly, quite upsetting to be treated that way, especially in such a beautiful setting.
Itâs a real shame that such a lovely space is overshadowed by poor management and unprofessional behavior. I hope they take customer feedback seriously, because the environment deserves better service to match. Food: 1/5 Service:...
Read moreWe came to try this cafe for the first time. We had a bad experience, let me tell youâŚ. Apparently the rules are that each person has to get something within 15 mins or youâll be asked to leave. I was shocked bc my husband and I had just ordered one thing together not thinking we were staying long. But we did end up staying longer than we expected and were told 2x to order something, the second time server said sheâd have to ask us to leave?? The cafe is huge and literally we were the only ones in it⌠I donât understand, I guess they donât want customers? So we bought another drink, which I get that we should, but just the service, the ârulesâ, threatening to throw us out.. terrible experience.
Then we saw server who served us our drinks rubbing her bare feet with her bare hands 𤢠on the way to the bathroom. Yikes.
Ok Iâll leave you with that. I just want to share my experience, not that youâll have the same one. Good things are the place is huge, prices are affordable, and they have free WiFi. But honestly very few customers but...
