I had such a wonderful experience cooking with my team VIRTUALLY! Tania is amazing, I made Paella for the first time. Cooking with Tania made it so simple. Receiving my box with items that was needed was the perfect touch. I have always been afraid trying to make paella but Tania explained everything so well and doing it side by side with her and my team was the best! I can not wait now to make this again! it was an experience I will not forget.

My coworkers and I had a fabulous experience with the Coqui team led by chef Lopez! We made fettuccine, ravioli, and cherry tomato sauce. The team also provided us fresh arugula salad and lemon chicken sausage. Simply divine. Most of all, we had tons of fun as a team navigating the thrills of cooking. I can’t wait to go home and try the recipes again at home!! Thanks, team!

Wonderful evening cooking paella with the Coqui the Chef team! Our group left with all smiles as we all prepped the dinner together, learned new cooking techniques and tips, and enjoyed listening to cultural history of the dishes and recipes. Highly recommend to others for a unique NYC culinary experience!

I had the pleasure of attending Coqui the Chef Mexican cooking class with a group of talented and enthusiastic high school students. From the moment I stepped into the bustling kitchen, the students knew they were in for an extraordinary experience. The passion, creativity, and dedication the Chef instructors displayed throughout this cooking class made it truly unforgettable for my students and I.

The cooking class took place in a well-equipped culinary school kitchen, complete with professional-grade appliances, spacious workstations, and a vibrant atmosphere. The air was filled with the tantalizing aromas of various ingredients, igniting a sense of anticipation for what was to come.

The high school students were fortunate to be guided by a team of skilled, enthusiastic and experienced culinary instructors. Their expertise and patience were evident from the outset, as they provided clear instructions and expert tips, ensuring that each student felt confident and engaged throughout the class.

The class was centered around preparing Mexican dishes, showcasing a diverse range of culinary techniques and flavors. The menu included guacamole, pico de gallo, tortillas, fried tortillas with cheese, chicken, mushrooms, sweet peppers, rice, salad which allowed the students to explore various cooking styles and ingredients. Each dish was carefully selected to challenge and inspire the students, ensuring they gained valuable culinary knowledge and skills.

One aspect that truly stood out during the cooking class was the level of collaboration and teamwork among the high school students. Despite their limited levels of experience, they seamlessly worked together, supporting and assisting one another. The positive and inclusive atmosphere fostered a sense of camaraderie, further enhancing the overall experience.

The cooking class emphasized hands-on learning, giving each student the opportunity to actively participate in every step of the cooking process. From chopping vegetables to plating the final dish, they were fully immersed in the culinary journey. This experiential approach not only deepened their understanding of cooking techniques but also instilled a sense of ownership and pride in their creations.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the cooking class was witnessing the students' creativity and willingness to experiment. After hours of meticulous preparation, the moment of truth arrived as we gathered around the beautifully decorated room and tables to savor the fruits of our labor. The dishes presented were nothing short of culinary masterpieces. The flavors were harmonious, textures well-balanced, and presentations visually stunning. It was a true celebration of the students' hard work and dedication.

Attending the cooking class with high school students was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all expectations. The passion, talent, and teamwork displayed by these young chefs were truly commendable. Not only did they showcase their culinary prowess, but they also inspired everyone present to embrace their own creativity in the kitchen. This unforgettable adventure reaffirmed my belief in the transformative power of culinary education and left me as their teacher with lasting memories of a truly...

We had SUCH a wonderful time at Coqui the Chef! We did it as a women's event for our office and Chef Tania could not have made the process easier! We arrived to the most wonderfully decorated room with every detail perfect! We chose Spanish themed class, so they even had personalized Spanish decor and Spanish music! Tania set up a charcuterie station for us for our first 30 minutes of everyone arriving and had complimentary Cava for before dinner and Sangria for after! She thought of everything! I would 100% recommend this for any group. We also learned a ton of new cooking skills....

Tanya and her team created a perfect cooking and eating experience for my team’s holiday party. They were so helpful and nice, the kitchen was clean and big, the food was delicious and we learned some great new recipes. It was just the right amount of time in the kitchen and everyone participated. The staff was so great and the whole event went so smoothly. I highly recommend Coqui the Chef to all groups - friends, families, colleagues, etc!...
