I've been going to QB house for 2 years, and to multiple different locations. This is my second time at this location and I actually had to write a review because of how upset I was. My first visit was amazing, I believe I was seen my Akko and my hair came out better than I could have even imagined. My second time though was immensely worse. I made sure to take photos of my previous hair cut, and from multiple different angles. I also explained the exact style I wanted (low tapered, two block with a slight trim to just above my eyebrow level), and what I got was something I can barely explain. It's a complete under cut shave, but with two different hair lengths underneath my bangs? But one side of my hair has a gap that was cut too short in the back, but then the bangs on the SAME SIDE extend below eye level?? And then the back of my head he chose to blend my hair into a poor taper? How is that even possible? I would include photos but I'm too embarrassed. For reference I saw Bony, and the salon was empty. After reading all the reviews I can finally understand why. I'm less than a month away from my wedding date and I'm so nervous my hair won't grow back in time. This has single handedly added on so much extra stress than I needed. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BE SEEN BY BONY!!!

I’ve been curious about this place for a while and suddenly had the courage to try it out. Here are my thoughts after trying… Pros: 1. The waiting time wasn’t bad at this location. But if you are looking for minimum waiting time, don’t visit during lunch time. 2. All the tools are sanitized for each customer and the interior is pretty clean. 3. Affordable and fast 4. My stylist was nice and tried very hard to give what I want. Thumb’s up for trying! Cons: My stylist wasn’t very experienced, and my haircut wasn’t what I was looking for even after a few discussions and corrections... If you are a girl looking for a more stylish and delicate haircut, this is probably not the right place.

Efficient, no nonsense haircuts from a chain popular in Japan. Seats are numbered on the bench so you know who is next - be sure to move down when it’s the next person’s turn. I especially enjoyed having my head vacuumed. I assume it was to remove the loose cut hair, or maybe I was just dusty. Spent the time wondering how they could automate further - maybe have the chairs on a moveable platform moving through the waiting area through to the hair cutting stations?

I've been getting my haircuts from Bony for nearly four years now, and he consistently exceeds expectations. Not only is he a skilled barber who takes pride in his craft, but he also creates an experience that feels like catching up with an old friend.

What truly sets Bony apart is his warmth and cultural connection. As a native Cantonese speaker living abroad, chatting with him in our shared dialect during appointments warms my heart and makes the process feel deeply personal. His fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese ensures seamless communication for clients from all backgrounds.

Bony’s attention to detail is remarkable. He always discusses preferences thoroughly before starting, patiently adjusts based on feedback, and delivers results that align perfectly with my vision. It’s no surprise his chair is constantly booked – his loyal regulars (myself included!) know his talent and charisma are unmatched.

If you want more than just a haircut, but a welcoming atmosphere and artistry you can trust, Bony is your go-to professional. Highly...

Had my hair cut by Bony today, which turned out great! Came here to write a review and was shocked at what people are saying about him. Honestly, from the reviews, I think people need to understand that a haircut is a two-way street. Yes, there's the quality aspect from the barber, but there's also a communication aspect that the client needs to be vocalized. You need to communicate throughout the entirety of the haircut-- it's not some activity where you can only speak at the beginning and at the end. Bony is fairly quick when it comes to cutting hair. Does he oftentimes recommend specific haircut templates, and if you don't speak up, will he cut your hair like that? Yes. Does he listen to feedback during and after the cut and learn how to cut your hair properly with minimal instructions beyond the first visit? Also yes. QB house's business model is to have a quick-and-easy turnover rate with minimal wait times. You can't argue for salon level quality and attention for the price you're paying-- it's a haircut with the luxury of...
