I came to Costco to buy a $1,800 furniture set, which came in three large and heavy boxes. After paying, I went to the front desk and asked for help loading the boxes onto a cart just to get them out of the store. I wasn’t even asking for help loading them into my car — just onto a cart.
I asked three separate times, waited almost an hour, and no one showed up. In the end, I had to load everything onto the cart myself and get it out of the store alone.
What made it worse is that I’m an Executive Membership cardholder — supposedly their highest level of membership with better service and perks. But apparently, that means nothing. This experience was extremely disappointing. Poor customer service, lack of accountability, and no respect for customers spending serious money.
