I'm a local resident of this Marshall's and have been coming here since i was a child but my recent experiences have made me not want to shop here. There's no reason why a person should feel the need to stop shopping somewhere because employees are discriminating paying customers. The woman who works at the fitting room is constantly talking badly about customers. At least at the times i've gone. I tried to ignore it so i could just buy what i needed and go, but i can't any longer. The last time i went to try on some clothes, not being rude to her in anyway and actually was making conversation with her; i then go in the fitting room to try on clothes and over-hear her talking badly about me with a co-worker (i'm in the next fitting room over by the entrance) and i hear her saying "did you see that girl with purple hair?...what has the World come to" i understand i'm not someone you commonly see on your day to day basis but that doesn't mean you need to criticize me for it when i wasn't causing any issues or being disrespectful to any of the employees. Why create an uninviting atmosphere for customers all due to your prejudice? If you don't like a group of people, race, culture, you could keep that to yourself. The employees here will openly express this without any regard for how someone else may be feeling. I don't know who the manager is, but to have employees displaying their xenophobia openly here...
Read moreSo I was in the store today while it closed. I was approached by a short woman with black hair who told me that the store was closed, now I was just browsing not really going to buy anything. The store was still full of people a lot of them doing exactly was I was doing and a whole line of people waiting to pay but she chose to come up to me and say that, to which I replied ok. She disappeared for a minute and I think it was her voice over the loudspeaker announcing that the store is closed etc, her tone of voice makes it sound like get the hell out if you know what I mean and this was not the first time that it comes across like that. Then she comes back again to me and says "HELLO DID YOU NOT HEAR ME I SAID THE STORE IS CLOSED" you would think that I was the only person in the store. At that point I left but did speak to the manager that was opening the door about this encounter who stated that he would address it. I am giving the store 1 star for the mgr who seemed nice, but send this woman in the back to deal with the stock do not have her communicating with the public, maybe she does not...
Read moreI am writing to express my concerns regarding the condition and management of a particular store. I have visited other locations of this chain and have not encountered similar issues. During my visit yesterday, I observed a hazardous situation where an open bottle was left unattended, which was noticed by my daughter, who is autistic. Unfortunately, she inadvertently consumed some of the contents before I could intervene.
I reported this incident to a staff member; however, there was an apparent lack of urgency or seriousness in their response, as the bottle remained in place. It is disheartening to witness neglect in a retail environment, especially concerning the safety of customers.
I urge the management to consider the implications of such oversights, as one would not wish for similar incidents to occur with their own family members. I trust my feedback will prompt a review of safety practices within the store to prevent future occurrences. Thank you for your attention to...
