The lines are long, they’re always understaffed, and everything is locked up so you have to wait for help. What makes it worse are the poor attitudes. The store is supposed to open at 8:00am. Today it didn’t open at 8:00am. They had us waiting outside the door after 8:00am. A very rude employee tells us they’ll let us in when the security guard comes. She didn’t even think it was necessary to apologize. The customers’ time matters too. That’s the lack of training and the lack of valuing the customer that’s evident. There’s a particular security guard who admits to and made a joke about profiling customers and he’s unnecessarily aggressive. I went in the store with a small bag of laundry. He tells me I have to leave the bag upfront. I told him it’s my laundry. He then tells me he will check my bag. He said all of this with no professionalism whatsoever. Someone who jokes about profiling and who’s aggressive with women and who still doesn’t have the ability to correct his behavior when that aggression and rudeness is addressed should not work at the store. Out of all the security guards he is the only one who acts like that. Some guards are actual police officers and some are hired security, but all the others are polite and professional. This one needs retraining. He has a very nasty disposition. Not being allowed into the store on time with no apology wasn’t enough. Customers have to be addressed rudely as well at this location. Read moreStore closes at midnight. Why can't get I get a pickup order that was placed at or around 9pm and your app gaurantees pick ups are ready within 30min. Then, I get an email after I try and pick up my items that my order has been delayed and the email gave incorrect closing times. Get a follow up email saying my items aren't available when the app said they were because, surprise, I was allowed to order them. Get an ADDITIONAL follow up email saying my order was canceled because they "couldn't fulfill my order at this time"
?????
What's the point of offering same day pick up, well before the store closes, if I'm told "it'll be ready tomorrow" I could understand if I ordered at 11:30pm, but a 9pm order should be able to be fulfilled before a midnight closing. I had maybe $25 worth of items. That's not a lot.
This place needs more staff. You can't expect two people to stock shelves and have them run back and forth to do that AND run the registers. The aisles wouldn't be crowded with stock all the time if there was a designated stock associate. Management should have more of a presence on the floor and not leave their staff to struggle which it's very obvious they are and I don't fault them for that. I fault the poor management skills of the managers and corporate who's probably denying them the funds to hire more people.
Do better by the people who live in the neighborhood. You're forcing them elsewhere that's...
Read moreThey are not use to having empathy for sick or disabled people. Extremely impatient, and as many of the reviews note rude.
It's a really really bad look as somebody with ties professionally to various disability rights organizations and a career advocate for people with neurological disabilities and autoimmune Comorbidities, the next time a customer is hung up on, lied to, or mistreated despite numerous observations of them doing this to multiple people both from reviews and inside the store. The better Business bureau will be involved, various organizations involved with ADA compliance, the manager and I will be bringing those reviews.
No human being should be made to feel like they are less or worthless. Some people with disabilities speak slower than others. We don't hang up the phones on them.
Judging by the rest of the reviews that stops immediately.
When I go in I'm always super polite, I say good morning, good afternoon, and the transactions are fine but if people think that they can be disrespectful and nasty over the phone. I promise that person will be fired, there will be a restructuring of this business and many will be brought in and not just corporate you never know who's in your store so a little bit of kindness goes a long way I hope this doesn't happen again.
I realize everyone has a bad day. But if you make a mistake own up to it disabled people aren't stupid and we are...
