We found Danila and Lana after thorough research. We truly fell in love with their style of wedding photography - both timeless and unique, they manage to keep the couple’s personality and translate atmosphere into the photos. To connect with Danila was very easy, the communication was always clear and punctual. We spent some time with him over the phone explaining our vision and importance of staying authentic and genuine.

Danila, Lana, and Lubov also provided help planning when a good time of day the ceremony should be since we wanted it to be close to sun set. With Central Park in New York City they gave us guidance on when the sun sets, to think about the building height, and to start earlier than we would think instinctually. They were right, we started the day and then the ceremony early and had time for more photos before going to our reception location. They were with us every step of the way.

We are grateful that we not only had amazing photographers, but they also made a video of our special moments. and Lubov was our wedding officiant. They were fun to work with, easy going, stylish, and knew how to coordinate a group of people as to avoid any chaos that would have occurred if people strayed on timelines. Lubov was an awesome officiant. It was fun and engaging for our whole group.

On the day of they were on-time, met with us in our place, got to know us better within a very short time. They walked with us in our neighborhood street for a First Look. They split up so that both the Bride and Groom had company leading up the ceremony. We had gentle direction, and the special moments all unfolded gracefully with their help.

I hired Danila and a second shooter (his beautiful and talented wife Lana) for my wedding in Philadelphia, PA. After searching tirelessly for a photographer in the Philly area, I decided to open my searches to NY and NJ and found Danila. I sent his page to my brother in law who is a very talented photographer and he was instantly drawn to Danilas talent and eye for photos. I emailed him that night and he got back to me within 10 minutes! He is so fun and truly has such a passion and energy for life in general which I think is why he is an amazing photographer. We talked on the phone the next day for almost an hour all about my fiance and I and I knew he was caring and the perfect fit for us. He was so easy to work with and supportive! Him and his wife came to my airbnb to take photos and had so many fun and creative ideas for photos around the neighborhood! They were patient and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. They were open to all my ideas but also shared their opinions and they are truly such a great team! I must also add that they were patient during one of the hottest days in Philly ever!! As soon as we came across some photos that Danila took at another wedding in Jersey City, we knew this was a match for us. His incredible creative style is unique, his photos and stories are more lively and vivid than other wedding photographers, and we loved it! For us, capturing our relationship with each other as well as our friends was exactly what we were looking for, and Danila became a great fit with our group of friends and family, felt like we've known him forever. On your wedding day, you need to be flexible and find creative solutions to withstand temperamental weather conditions. Picking a venue with the typically gorgeous view of NYC for photos sounds like it you would have an easy background, but then it snows so much on a March day that it completely covers the view. I didn't even have time to panic, Danila was quick to propose a new background which ended up being even more perfect. Danila's photo assistant Katia was also amazing, she was able to help ensure that all the other important family, guests, bridal parties were taken. Danila and Katia also took amazing photos of the small Russian Orthodox Church where we had our ceremony, not easy to follow or capture as there are many moving pieces throughout, and it is at least an hour long.
