Dave's Meal Prep — Local services in New York

I've ordered from some of the larger meal delivery services and am always left dissatisfied from either the price, taste of the meals, or a combination so when I was searching for alternatives and found Dave's, I decided to give them a try. The first thing I noticed was how customizable the meals are. You can either have them pick your meals or create your own based on your dietary needs and food preferences.The next thing I noticed was that there was no subscription needed. This was extremely appealing to me because I don't always want to order every week and don't want to have to go in and chose to skip a week which the larger companies require. Next, the prices are EXTREMELY reasonable in comparision to other services. Now let's get to the food - not only are the meals ready to eat with no prep involved because I'm lazy (except to microwave for 2 minutes) but they tase incredible! The portions are the perfect size for me and I found all the meals to be on the healthy side yet still very tasty. Finally, the customer service. I'm not sure if it was actually Dave but the representative from the company texted me on the delivery day to make sure I would be home which was very thoughtful. Once I receive the meals, I have various questions which I texted and they always responded promptly and in a friendly manner with the answers. It felt personal which is something you just don't get with the larger companies. I've been going to dave's meal prep for a month now (4 weeks - 14 meal delivery) - they have very solid macros and more importantly, the food actually tastes good. It is better than factor75/cook unity/whatever you can think of not only on the macro side but on the taste factor as well. The owner actively reaches out to make sure everything is going well, and follows up for any subsequent delivery. As an experienced lifter who's currently focused on losing 10 lbs of weight within 3 months, I can confidently say that there is no better place to go to for meal prep/macro/dieting (or even bulking healthy) than dave's meal prep.
