Absolutely disgraceful. Shame on the store owner! We purchased a Kulich for Christian Easter, and it was hands down the worst we've ever had — in fact, it was so bad we couldn't even bring ourselves to finish it. A tiny Easter bread cost nearly $14, yet tasted like something that shouldn't be worth more than $3, if that. The dough was dry, flavorless, and had absolutely no aroma of vanilla — a staple for any decent kulich. Worse yet, it was stuffed with cheap, repulsive chunks of artificially colored marmalade that only made it more inedible. This isn’t just bad baking — it’s an insult to tradition. Kulich is a sacred Easter bread, a symbol of faith and celebration, and turning it into this tasteless, overpriced mess is nothing short of offensive. It’s a mockery. And frankly, this isn’t the first time I’ve had concerns. Almost every ready-made item in this store seems questionable — the quality is low, the freshness is dubious, and it genuinely feels like expired ingredients (milk, eggs, sour cream) are being used. It’s not just disappointing — it’s unacceptable and potentially unsafe. I will never shop here again, and I urge others to think twice.

As much as we appreciate selection in cheese and meats in cold cuts section My family and several other neighbors recently got so sick from their cooked food such as pasta seafood in white cream sauce, shrimp salad & former favorite mushrooms with potatoes It sent my husband & I to the ER having severe diarrhea food poisoning Will NEVER step foot in this supermarket what a shame They must have a new cook or management unfortunately after 2019 seeing quality & selection getting worse every year!

This store is located in a very busy area and is known for a good quality of Russian Food including products directly from all republics of the former USSR. Parking is extremely difficult to find in the area. Service is getting a little better, but some rudeness is expected from salespeople specially during busy hours and when store is about to close.

AWFUL & HORRIBLE Customer service! Stay away if you care about what you EAT and PAY for! I was very dissapointed when our cake were very bad quality and cream were like a GLUE (sticky, stretching, and dark color in certain layers of cake). Brought it back to store right next business day and i tried to speak with manager Boris. HE told me to speak with LENA and I was told cake is fine its just too fresh. really ? i told that i bought exact cake for last couple years and it never been like this before and i know what i am talking about since this type of cake is my favorite. I was told even if you bought 200 cakes .. Really 2.0?How dare they are to talk this way? i was very respectful with them and it was a very rude response and I don't understand why I was treated like this. I left very empty due not to being cared very nice since i shop here last 9 years!! No loyalty! I left cake to them since I cant eat that! I reached to Boris to escalate the matter since I felt she cant help other than insult me stating that I don't understand anything about cakes. Yes she literally told me that I don't know anything about cake! Unbelievable! I saw Boris loading/checking deliveries outside I reached to him and waited.I didn't interrupt him and he acknowledged that i wanted to speak with him and waiting. Once, he finished i told that what i was told by her employer and i am not going to eat that cake. Before, I finished my sentence he started walking inside of the store and telling OK i will fire her. And he walked away and end of conversation. IF you had issue with your staff its your management skills lack and problem not customers. WHAT ABOUT CUSTOMERS? I wasn't offered neither Credit or Return funds at all. BY simply firing your employer you won't help me. MY NEW YEAR EVEs AND NEW YEAR IS Ruined. I don't know what is wrong with team in this store but for sure NEVER EVER have any issue since you won't get a FAIR TREAT! I was in hurry and i forgot to take a photo but this date and time is recorded in store hope if they want to get the truth they can look camera to double check my words P.S: I created profile since i never left a review but this morning i was very...

Usually skipping this store due to being on the B82 bus from the train station, I normally don't have what seems like a luxury to satisfy my shopping wish list when passing by the Domino store on Kings Highway in Brooklyn by the "Q" train. The bright, animated, food filled place called Domino was so elusive until today, when I was able to visit this Russian wonderland. After somewhat being familiar with the sections of the store and the way a low paying employee operates, I asked for attention after reviewing the ready salads sections. The lady started to take my order and then abruptly ended our discussion to speak to what seemed like her son who just came in to the store to take the keys from her and give her the family cell phone. After ordering my salads (later at home realizing I was given the Olive Salad instead of the Crab salad so eagerly sought after when deciding to eat at a later hour at home) I moved on to the next section of fish. After spending a few frantic seconds realizing that no one was working that section, I moved to the next section of cold cuts and exotic meats. Due to no line in that area and 3 ladies behind that counter I was sure to get some meat.... After approaching that section and spending some time there I realized that the ladies behind that counter had a more serious commitment to their earlier discussion then to serve me some expensive meat. In total disappointment I moved myself to the cashier section where the lady at the terminal, along with all the other cashiers were distracted by an offer for tea, coffee and some "cheburekis", a cheap food for low waged employees. The reaction was so ecstatic that I was almost invisible at the point when I was just trying to leave.

Although a great selection of products, a lack of management or a strong sense of customer service, this business only survives on the lack of competition, a competition that is slowly rising in that...

Your typical Russian/Eastern European deli/bakery/supermarket/fish store/vegetable store/ candy & nuts store and so much more. This place is pretty much always packed but that means everything is fresh cause it sells fast. It's my go to, when i want to feel like i am still home in the country i was born in. When you walk in you got pre-sliced bread on the left side continued by the bakery with pastries and cakes and cookies continue on to some vegetables and all sorts of stuffed shells. On the right side you have the cooked foods and salads like fried fish and eggplant salad and stuffed peppers...... Make a right and you got all sorts of cheeses. I mean there's like at least 6 different types of feta's. Get the french one. It's followed by sections with fish, meat, dairy, cookies, dilled bar( green tomatoes, cabbage, olives). There's also a deli section with every salami you can think of and goose liver pate and sausage and hams and hot dogs. This is my favorite place and i highly recommend it. Don't worry if you don't speak Russian. I don't either but by looking at stuff you know what it is, or you do hand gestures or some understand what you are saying. Other times customers jump in to help translate. It's worth...
