Dong's Discount Wine and Liquor — Local services in New York

It's a huge improvement over the previous owners and they've done a great job increasing the selection. I remember when they first opened and we made suggestions on adding sazerac rye which at the time was extremely difficult to find in any neighboring liquor store. I can echo that there is a lack of warmth at times especially since while I only come here a few times a year I spend a lot of money here (over $100 almost every time). But that doesn't bother me too much. Prices aren't bad and still way way better than manhattan and gentrified brooklyn areas. Still gunna be my stock up store for when I'm running low...

Thanks to Dong's Discount Wine and Liquor for carrying Franzia Five Liter Dark Red Blend. Excellent vino da tavola at a great price. It keeps well, and no glass to dispose of. If the world were a better place, the N train would stop at Ft. Hamilton Parkway and the store would be easier to get to, but that's not Dong's fault, and they say there's hope for the future. ...

For me, anyway, as a bourbon/whiskey enthusiast, This establishment has, or can find, the better and less well known labels; in fact, they are very knowledgeable about spirits and wine, in general. I would definitely recommend this shop, especially now that it's Christmas-time and close to New Years. I suggest Buffalo...
