Love the tram. Living here for a year...just don't take the tram during the summer. Way too touristy and unGodly hot and humid. But it's nice to be a few blocks away from some good restaurants when you take it into the city. One benefit of taking the tram back to the island is the fact that a Roosevelt Island will be there always to pick you up and drop you off wherever you need to be on the island. No waiting around for long for a bus. This is a huge plus in the...

Tram accepts MTA metro cards for convenience. Ride is very quick around 5 minutes. Mostly tram is visited by tourist so people rushed to get in as soon as tram door is open and rush to occupy the sit like ride is for lifetime. No one believes in standing in line based on first come first to enter inside tram. Other than typical rude behavior, ride is fantastic and good for...

The way I commute to work. Not a fan of the obnoxious visting tourists though. During non rush hour times they should have a tram run just for them (charge them more) so us Roosevelt Islanders arent annoyed anytime we are going home. But besides that its a nice ride into the city and it takes under...

Eine Schweizer Spezialfirma errichtete 1976 „The Tram“.

This is one of the spots where The Professional's Movie took place. You don't have to wait too much for the Tram. It accepts MTA Metro Cards, too. Don't miss the opportunity for watching east Manhattan and Queens in a different way
